I love the warm ambiance they manage to create in such a small space. Everyone is happy and welcoming, even during rush hours. My daughter is obsessed with the kitty robot server and now wishes we had one at home, lol.
My go-to favorites are the drunken noodles, gyoza, and the curries. Everything cooked to perfection. Their soups have basically become my comfort food these days. The portions are generous too: one rice or noodle dish easily feeds two people (or three for me!).
One suggestion: since we order through our phones, it would be great if each dish had customization options for allergies. There should be a way to mark ingredients we need to avoid. We have a peanut allergy and we had to flag someone down to make sure nothing contained peanuts. That’s the only reason I gave one less star.
Overall, I love everything about this place and really hope they continue to maintain the same food quality and hygiene!

We were passing throughout town and craving some authentic thai food. This place did not disappoint in any aspects. We were greeted by lovely server. The restaurant was busy, she handled it well with a help of serving robot. Since the menu looks good, we decided to try multiple items. All of them were excellent. The curry was obviously top notch and the noodle tasted just like Thailand. The portion is appreciated and the price is very reasonable. Parking is plentiful in the plaza. I will definitely stop by every time I’m in town for sure.

The most amazing Pad Thai I’ve ever tried. We also ordered Tom Kha and shrimp spring rolls – all incredibly delicious. The place is super clean and tidy, food served fast and the ingredients are really fresh – you can taste it. Definitely will come back!

Nice Thai restaurant in Sequoia Hills Knoxville! It is very quaint and casual. They have local art displayed on the walls. It is very high tech. You order on your phone with QR code and a robot helps deliver food to your table. We ordered the green curry and yellow curry. They were both very flavorful. They hit the spot on a colder day! Would recommend this spot for a nice filling lunch.

I absolutely love Fai Thai! They are so friendly and happy in the store, and the food is always high quality and delicious. They keep their dining room decorated and often include local artists.

This place is cute new and cool. We ordered and paid for everything from our phones. It was super easy and efficient. We had two other couple with us and didn’t have to wait for anything.

Amazing Thai restaurant with a local neighborhood feel. No matter if you are solo or with a large group, this place makes you feel at home. The Pad Thai and Pork Rice dishes are astounding and if you have kids they will love the robot cat that serves your meal. Truly one of the best local restaurants around

WOW. My husband and I have been so pleasantly surprised by Fai Thai. We drove past them several times and then we made it a point to stop in. The set up of the place is abit different than some, but I found it didn’t matter because the lady at the front was so welcoming and gave us menus and basically explained that we can read the menu, then order and sit down. We got serviced by their rolling robot!!! We love Thai food, and go to places in Sevierville and Gatlinburg for our fix usually, but now we will be going out of way for this place. The food was INCREDIBLE!! I loved that i asked for things to made vegan and wasn’t treated like I was an inconvenience, but it was actually a pleasure for them. The food has sooo much flavor, deep spices, creamy… amazing in all the right ways. We had the Tom Kah soup, massaman curry, drunken noodles, spring rolls, mango sticky rice and a Thai tea. All of that was $63 and we took leftovers home. Yeah we were extremely happy! Let me mention again how sweet the people are here. They profusely thanked us for stopping by and they were so happy that we thoroughly enjoyed the food so much. It was an incredible experience and we will be back so many times, this I know!
It really makes a difference when you are welcomed by people and thanked. We do not get this level of service at most places. A lot of times you are treated as an inconvenience. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out soon!

Yesterday while we were in Knoxville, we went to Fai Thai Kitchen for lunch. What makes the restaurant unique is that they have QR codes on each table to place your order and pay for it. I wanted to try Mama’s Kanom Jeeb to start out with, which is 4 steamed dumplings stuffed with ground chicken, shrimp, pork, and shiitake mushrooms. The appetizer was delivered by a robot, which was very cool. I thought the dumplings were hot, soft, and flavorful. For my meal, I got the Pad See Ue with chicken and spicy level 1. It was just the right amount of spice and slightly sweet from the black soy sauce. My mom got the Drunken Noodles with beef and spice level 4. My dad got the Thai-style Fried Rice with chicken and spice level 1. They both enjoyed their meals. Overall, I highly recommend coming to Fai Thai Kitchen for delicious Thai food. I will definitely be going back!
