Yummy lunch with view of the sea, after getting an early morning ferry. Food was decent… The mussels particularly good and recommended, although everything we had off the menu was delish.

The service was great (we were served by a pleasant blonde lady), she recommended an excellent wine, and we had a good meal. We had a reservation. It was the only one of the four restaurants that responded to us and confirmed the reservation.

We were strolling down the main boardwalk and dropped in to eat and have something to drink around 5:30. There were no ‘reserved ‘ signs on any table so we sat down at a small table for two in a shaded area of the terrace. After being ignored for around 10 minutes the waitress came, took our order of water and a G&T. We were looking at the menu ready to order when we were informed that we can’t stay as our table was reserved for dinner guests at 7:00 pm. We could have easily eaten and left before 7:00 but the staff told us in so many words that we could not. A French couple next to us clearly ordered food during the time we spent there so evidently they discriminated us because we spoke English? We were ready to leave and my husband went to use the bathroom and one of the staff members ( a quite heavyset, darker coloured man who was not even dressed like the rest of the staff, walked by our table while I was still sitting there waiting for my husband to come back). He just suddenly slammed the ‘reserved’ sign on the table and startled me. He could have said ‘excuse me can I place this sign on the table ‘ ? Anyway this was a bad experience and as a tourist I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

Great restaurant, right in front of the beach. Food is reasonably priced and tastes great. The staff is friendly and very attentive. I will definitely be back next year.

Best restaurant in all of Dunkirk. We ordered mussels and a cote d’los, and everything was delicious. The staff and owners were simply fantastic. We’re Belgian, and they even spoke basic Dutch. When I went to pay, I realized I’d been charged one beer too little. I reported it, and they said it was their mistake and that it was on the house. I 100% recommend this restaurant for both the atmosphere and the food.

We ordered burger, fries, Cesar Salad. Caesar Salad for the quality was very overpriced, piece of salad with cold boiled chicken. Fries were bad as well. Burger was okay. View: partially sea, cheap plastic tables.
