This place was recommended to me and my girlfriend by a close family/friend. We had the Creole chicken with black rice and plantains, while our daughter had the Creole goat with rice and peas and plantains. We also had the freshly made mango and strawberry lemonade. The food is cook to order and the server who is also one of the chef made us tried the soup, I can’t spell it but I know it taste so delicious. You taste all the flavor. The wait time is not long but I must say everything on the menu is top tier. Something on the menu is there for everyone. They also host comedy events on certain days, give them a call and check it out.

I came into the restaurant feeling very indecisive because everything on the menu looked so good! I ended up ordering the Caribbean Chicken, and it did not disappoint. The portion was generous, and every single item it came with was absolutely delicious. My children loved it so much that we came back the same day to order more! Also, the homemade lemonade Top tier, refreshing and full of flavor. Highly recommend! They did their thing, as being the only Haitian restaurant in the Poconos you guys nailed it!

This is truly a gem and I hope this review reaches many so many can taste the quality of their food. Farah and Michael puts their all into their restaurant and it shows. At Fabu’s, every dish is authentic. Every plate reminds me of my childhood. I love their oxtail. It’s flavorful, tender and juicy. I am not a meat eater. However, after tasting Fabu’s oxtail, I am becoming more lenient into eating meat again. In addition, Fabu and Michael are super friendly. Overall, this restaurant deserves a 5 star. I also like their vegan option. Check it out y’all.

Me and my girlfriend went there for the first time, we from New York and decided to spend a few days in PA. My girlfriend was the one who wanted some Haitian food, and chose the place. The restaurant was clean, spacious, very welcoming. Fabu was really nice and friendly, when I asked her where the name for the restaurant came from, she told me her husband gave her that nickname. The food was delicious, I just wanted the plate to be bigger though to be honest, couldn’t get enough. We had some griot, fried plantains, white rice, legumes, and 2 cups of grenadines juice. I should have bought 2 more cups, juice was delicious for real. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for having us , and sorry for posting this review so late too keep up the good work!!

We know good Haitian food when we taste it. We had the legume, black rice, fried plantain, rice and beans, white rice, oxtail and stewed chicken. All done to perfection down to the pikliz. The owners are very nice and super accommodating. Take it from us, you’ll love the food, folks and atmosphere.

What a wonderful meal we just had!!
Delicious Haitian food, made fresh after you order. It came out piping hot and was so tasty! The owners were super friendly and sweet, and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their food and their restaurant. The setting is beautiful, and there was peaceful French jazz music playing. Our meals came with salads too. And they’re open on Tuesday, a day that a lot of other local restaurants are closed! I had the legumes with shrimp, which was delicious, tender carrots, cabbage, etc with six large shrimp (tails off, which I always appreciate), two fresh hot pieces of fried plantain, white rice, and red beans with some sort of starchy vegetable (maybe chayote?) in the middle of them. A big meal! I had to take some home even though I ate a lot! $26. Well worth it. My baby LOVED the rice and beans!! My husband had the stewed goat, and he said it was great, not tough at all. The thing about this place is that everything is made freshly and served fresh, so nothing is dry or reheated. They even gave us samples of the passion fruit juice, and that was awesome. Like nectar! Yum.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Such a nice, relaxing dinner.

The owners were delightful. The customer service included sampling of delicious lemonades and a few menu items to ensure we would enjoy our entrees. We tried the black rice, plantain, beef legume, curry chicken, and jerk chicken and the mango and strawberry lemonade. All delicious! Our food was freshly prepared so we had a delightful chat re Caribbean culture, history, food. Can’t wait to dine in again and attend future events.
