Discovered this quaint new French cafe w/ the Folks after watching the movie “Detroit” down the hill at Edwards Theatres. The friendly owner, Fabrice, was sweet to turn on the AC for us and then all was good with our world! (Although, if it wasn’t for my 89yo Mom & 98yo Dad, I would’ve enjoyed the shaded front patio seating with a pleasant breeze.)
The yummy salmon was fresh caught and the folks loved the lemon caper chicken they shared. The onion soup was very delish. I could’ve just had that for my meal. Great flavor. The crème brûlée was lovely w/ a perfect crust on top. (Tho I think it could’ve been a bit creamier inside.) Everything was cooked fresh in-house. Fabrice’s wife, Alison, is the one who makes the desserts (can’t wait to try the pot de crème!) and I’m not sure what other menu items… They are Jamul locals and also own the other Fabrisons in Little Italy. (We had the pleasure of doing a Mother’s Day breakfast at that location. So this was nice checking out the lunch n dinner menu in this new venue. The name is also a clever combo of both of their names.)
I’m sure we’ll be back, especially for some crepes and chocolate croissants!

Excellent country style French food. We came here for lunch but they were flexible enough to offer us their dinner menu. We ordered the nicoise salad, chicken with lemon and caper sauce and the Onion Soup. Everything was delicious! The dark chocolate crepe with strawberry sauce was excellent. Not overly sweet like most desserts. The best restaurant I’ve been to in Jamul area for sure. Allison, the owner, was very attentive and made sure we were satisfied with everything.

Absolutely wonderful breakfast, with a quaint mom and pop feel. Had a ham and mushroom buckwheat crepe and avocado omelette with rosemary potatoes. Good size portions, made with care and attention. Coffee was perfectly strong and fresh. Highly recommended!

How lucky we are to have Fabrison’s come to Jamul! The crepes are fabulous and breakfast is a filling, savory delight. I have also enjoyed dinner with friends there and we all left smiling! I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is not a good place for Jamul. Prices are very high for what little you get. Jamul needs a good family restaurant, not a French crepe restaurant. We will not be going back.

Owner-run place, with unpretentious ambiance, yet extremely well executed french cuisine. A pleasant discovery in Jamul. 😉
