Do not eat here, or at least don’t order quesatacos they barely has meat, plus no flavor, all greasy without a reason, salsas also without “sazón”. Just plain “Mexican style” beef and pork, I wouldn’t call this pastor or asada.

Only the consomé was tasty, but they gave it to me cold so not even with that I can save you guys sorry.

Rice and beans were fine tho, maybe just eat sides?

Fabos Tacos is AMAZING! I stopped in as a Yelp Elite event and was treated to 3 free tacos & a paleta shot. The asada and pastor were so delicious. They provide some great sauces as well.
Additionally, I ordered a choriqueso and it was so good! The corn tortillas were delicious.
The service is unmatched! I happened to walk up 1 minute before open and as much as I dislike being “that person” they couldn’t have been nicer about it.
My first thought walking in was how incredible it smelled. It smells so clean in a great way and mixed with the food it was such a great experience all around!

Don’t judge a book by its cover!!

Located in a less than ideal spot of Portland and not super appealing to the eye from an exterior perspective… don’t let that deter you because the inside is inviting and food is delicious.

While their prices are a bit on the higher side… their food is great. Guacamole is homemade with fresh ingredients and their birria is so great that you’ll just want to drink it. Their meats, pastor, Asada, Pollo, carnitas are all so very flavorful!

Certainly recommend stopping by for a tasty meal!!

I have been living in Beaverton for 5 years now. There is not a single Mexican food truck or restaurant in the area that is as good as this place.

Consistently, the last 5 times I’ve been here they have absolutely come through and provided the exact same experience you come to expect after trying it just once. This is hands down the best spot. It just is the spot.

Every time I have left a tip and every time they have earned it. They truly deserve your money, your business, and your attention because this is genuinely top quality. They will even provide grilled jalapeños & onions if you just ask.

I have been to various Mexican restaurants and food trucks in the area and trust me this is the one. If you’ve been looking for that authentic experience, this is the place you’ve been looking for. They have officially created a loyal customer in me.

Genuinely thank you for opening this business.

Great atmosphere in the heart of the city with a super friendly and helpful staff! We had the Birria Ramen, Al Pastor Tacos, frijoles, and cucumber melon aguas frescas. The Birria Ramen was hands down the best I’ve had The consomme and meat were perfectly seasoned, we didn’t leave a drop to waste! The Al Pastor was delicious as well , with the pineapple giving the perfect amount of sweetness . The tortillas are house made and bursting with masa flavor! They use black beans for the frijoles which was a very welcome change from most taquerias! The star of the show may very well have been the aguas frescas, absolutely thirst quenching deliciousness that had us going back for more! At Fabos they use authentic serving dishes which adds to the experience as well. Taquerio Mucho!!!

Horchata ⭐⭐✨
– too sweet for me
– like the cinnamon taste though

— tacos —
Asada ⭐⭐⭐
– little dry for me

❤️Al pastor ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
– perfect
– loved the pineapple

Birria ⭐⭐⭐⭐
– didn’t have the cheese, think I meant to order the queso taco, I’d try that next time if I wanted birria

— sopes —
Asada ⭐⭐⭐✨
– same meat as the asada taco, but was better here
– think the beans helped moisten it up

❤️Pollo ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
– like this over the steak
– love the toppings, liked how I could taste the corn in the sopes

Girl who took our order was very friendly. Food came out very quickly. Our drinks didn’t come until we were almost done with our food, though , and there were only 2 other tables there. The guacamole had way too much raw onion in it-it was all you could taste. Our meal was $75 and we both left hungry because the tacos are tiny with hardly any filling.

We visited Fabos Tacos this past weekend and this is definitely the Taco spot you want to hit up. I have been visiting different places that advertise to have the best tacos in Portland. But Fabos Tacos is the one hands down. Tacos hit the spot and the cocktail drinks are on point, the vibe was awesome.

Greasy but straight fire. Super delicious tacos. Tried the pollo, asada, and pastor. All were great. Good salsa. Highly recommend.

Upon entering the facility you can tell it’s dark and unpopulated. The server told me to grab a menu off of the counter

I ordered and spent almost 20 bucks on very little food.

The tacos are skimpy and the corn tortillas are soggy. The rice tastes like cheesy butter rice-a-roni. I had to add flavor from the nursing home I work in to give it flavor.

Needless to say I will not be returning. Sad too because in the area I work in I haven’t found too many options for good food.
