One of the best dining experiences in a while. Great ambience, lively but not too loud. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Started with the Guinness brown bread which was as good as anything we have had in Ireland. Blue prawns to share were perfectly cooked, and accompanying sauce was very flavorful. Mains of salmon and confit chicken were excellent. Top it off with a great pint of Guinness! Highly recommended.

I saw this restaurant on Resy and decided to give it a try.
So I went to Fable and Spirit for a family dinner for four. I ended up ordering a Lucky Hare red wine glass which was a Bordeaux blend. The way it works is that subsequent diners keep guessing until they have it right, at which point the restaurant changes wine. It was a nice and juicy wine with blackcurrant notes.
I also ordered The Garden Party which was very dill-forward, the tomato water in it added something I guess. Buuuut THEY HAVE SAUTERNES!!!

Visited for our anniversary. We weren’t particularly hungry so we ordered some of the small plates, which actually looked more exciting to us. Server kept asking if we’ll be ordering more food, which wasn’t very pleasant. Food was good but nothing stood out as memorable. Highly recommend the octopus. 10/10 for the interiors and ambience. 8/10 for the food and drinks. 8/10 for the personal interaction.

The tables are too closed together, I got a 2 person table next to a table of 6 it was quite loud. I wish I was seated in a quiet corner. Other than that the food was not bad, I liked the mussels and pork belly. The rabbit was lacking flavors, the veggies had no imagination and should be served with the other food that was ordered. I did not enjoy sitting there eating couple plates of vegetables only.

This upscale restaurant absolutely nails the aesthetic. The atmosphere is chic and vibrant, making it a great spot for a stylish night out. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, which added to the overall positive vibe.

Nestled among the iconic Lido street in Newport, Fable & Spirit certainly can stake a claim as one of its best.
All of the dishes were well seasoned and cooked, but our favorite was definitely the Pork Porchetta. Nearly falling apart with a touch of your fork, it’s got a great mix of meat and fat that just melts in your mouth. Add in a little bit of soft and truffle-y polenta and I couldn’t help but ask for more

Great restaurant and service. I prefer to sit inside than outside for the full experience but they only had reservations available outside this time. The citrus salad (not pictured) was excellent as was the fish and chips and burger. I would definitely return. Ps Chad gave great wine recommendations.

After mentioning our disappointing cocktail experience at another nearby establishment, a local recommended this spot and shared the restaurant’s history and family background. We loved the story of how this place came to be, which made us even more excited to visit.
We weren’t able to secure dinner reservations, but we walked in for Sunday brunch and were pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They treated us like friends they were genuinely excited to share a great meal with, which made the experience feel personal and special.
We ordered the crispy calamari and the pork belly BLT, followed by the beignets. Every dish was outstanding. And the cocktails (Late Night Conversations, The Ritual, and Chasing Perfection) were easily some of the best drinks we’ve ever had.
10/10. Highly recommend.

The vibes are excellent. Service by Tracey and Alejandro were A+ and the food was excellent. The Guinness bread alone is worth visiting for. Wine menu is so unique and unlike other places. All hits no misses

The very best meal that I have had this year including a trip to Provence. The Michellin recognition is well deserved. A very creative menu and fish perfectly prepared and accented by the accompaniments. Fable & Spirit is a restaurant that you will want to visit time and time again.
