An absolute racket. In the past year(ish), they’ve cut down on everything. The pizza feels light. The calzone is not a calzone. It’s a cheese bread. There is no service. You have to order on kiosks. And the kiosk I had to use didn’t have receipt paper and there was no staff to help. Had to flag down an employee sprinting around. This is absolutely not a NY style pizzeria. Also, it’s wildly expensive for the tiny pittance of toppings and fillings for everything. Pizza. Calzones. Subs. They all feel like I’m being ripped off. NO CUPS. NO ICE. What kind of business that serves any sort of beverage doesn’t have cups or ice? There’s also no where to stand to wait for your order. Insane ownership.

It was my first time eating at this place today. I’m still new to the area and I’m making my rounds to all the local spots when they come recommend recommended by people. Fabio’s came recommended to me by one of my neighbors once he realized through conversation, that I was born and raised in Queens, New York and said that I had to try this place.
I ordered a two slice lunch combo one regular cheese, one with pepper and a side of french fries with a ginger ale. The staff seemed friendly, but not too talkative, which is fine because it kind of gives that New York vibe lol
Ordering was pretty simple. They have touchscreen kiosks that are pretty easy to figure out, but they always have a staff member there ready to help you input your order.
The pizza came out quick fresh and hot, both slices had crunchy crusts, were a good size and had a flop to them which means you have to fold them in half and eat sideways just like back home so that was definitely a plus
The flavors were where they needed to be, and I will definitely be bringing my wife and family back to this place and share the experience with them
To go, I ordered two cannolis one plain one with pistachio, which I’m gonna enjoy later on today with my wife and probably get back on here to edit this post.
Overall, it was a good experience. Will be back.

I’m born and bred in NYC. I know good pizza and good Italian food when I eat it. I had one of the best prosciutto/mozzarella sandwich sandwiches ever in Virginia. This particular location is on High Street. The prosciutto was fresh. The bread was so soft and yummy. They added a perfect amount of balsamic dressing. The mozzarella was so fresh. It broke upon my touching it. I wish places like this existed in New York City. I would eat here all the time! The breaded zucchini sticks were a hit. The cannoli was the largest cannoli I have ever seen.

We stayed in Charlottesville the weekend after Christmas 2025. When we travel to a town, I always look up local pizza shops as it’s the cheapest meal for me and my family. Now, I love Sicilian pizza and I can never find it near where I live. I saw that Fabio’s had Sicilian style pizza on their menu, so I was looking forward to ordering it during my 11 1/2 hour drive Friday 12/26/25. After we got settled into our rental house, I called the order in, we got two of them. I gotta say, they did not disappoint. Thick chewy crust, crispy edges, tasty sauce and cheese. Fantastic square cut pizza. They have a unique pick up process. I’d never been to a place before that keeps the finished orders in a little shed in the parking lot, but Fabio’s does and it works. So, if you find yourself in Charlottesville, VA and you like pizza, check this place out. If you are a fan of Sicilian pizza or if you’ve never tried it, give it a shot.

My husband says the pepperoni pizza slices were great. I ordered pasta , butter and cheese. Adding a note for extra Parmesan… Pasta and butter arrived … No cheese, definitely not any extra… A little disappointed since they charged me over 18 dollars for it, plus the ridiculous delivery fees. I was unable to leave the hospital as I was bedside of a loved one and I am their medical advocate/ proxy. The things that seem small , can be a big deal to some of us who place and order. I just wanted some comfort food. Felt robbed. My husband says the owner is a stand-up guy though so I might go in person one day.

The NY style pizza is the best I’ve had in Charlottesville. The crust is top notch. The garlic knots were good, but could have used a bit more garlic. The sauce was amazing. The speaker playing music was cracking the whole time. 4 stars for atmospheres. That’s my only real complaint. The staff was friendly and serve was fast.

The pizza is great and it’s my favorite in town. The ordering system makes the customer have to operate the touchscreen crap and I’m not feeling that at all. When the employees type it in, they also struggle to do it every time and it takes way too long and they seem to struggle as well, even the owners.
I’m sure having customers do the work helps with labor costs but it’s lame from the customer’s point of view. Especially for anyone with vision issues etc. Dig the pie though. People are nice.

Hands down the best pizza in C’ville. We always get it to go and it is always ready on time. Easy and organized pick up kiosk in parking lot. We always get the meat lovers with extra cheese give them a try! And it reheats the next day like a dream.

Clean fresh pizza spot with bright flavors that would appeal to most pizza lovers. It was lava hot from the oven. The knots and sauce are top notch. The ordering system is a little impersonal similar to Sheetz or WAWA and easy to navigate. Had to order twice because I forgot a drink.
