For meat lovers, there is nothing more satisfying then tucking into a perfect steak cooked on our carefully designed Josper charcoal ovens. The smoky sweetness of the charcoal, set at a temperature of 350°C creates a hint of crispiness and perfectly sears the soft flesh, releasing the deep earthy flavours for each guest to enjoy.

Lively venue serving seasonal Irish produce, including rare-breed beef, plus seafood & cocktails.

My alltime favorite Steakhouse in Dublin! Been here many times always getting treated very nicely by the staff. I suggest going a little early to enjoy sitting in the bar area with a great variety of drinks before dining!

When it comes to the food I‘ve had the ribeye many times which is fantastic! I even tried the chicken once and have been positively surprised. My go to steak though is the chateaubriand! Always cooked to perfection on rare or medium rare!

I‘ll definitely come back again! Thanks for always making it a great evening!

Service was kinda slow, we were sat down at 6:15pm, done with the appetisers at 6:45pm, but mains were not out until 7:30pm. Chicken was nice!! But sadly it was the only nice thing for the night Most of the foods were kinda bland (cod, side dishes fries and mash potatoes), could use more seasoning. The steak, we ordered medium rare, ribeye was okay. The sirloin was overcooked the first time. Waitress got it changed for us and the second one came out rare on the inside and burnt on the outside Oh wells… not coming back again. Not sure why the reviews here are this high.

Went here last night to celebrate with my girlfriend. What a great experience. We booked for 9pm on a Tuesday and the place was packed! For good reason. Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Exceptional service especially from Daniel who took great care of us and helped with great recommendations.
Porterhouse steak was 10/10! Gorgeous cocktails and wine. I recommend the Smokehouse, a great take on an old fashioned. And great dessert.
Definitely a pricy spot with dinner for 2 costing €265 before tip. But well worth every cent. Will deffinitly be returning in future. Perfect spot for a special occasion

I went there for the first time this weekend with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday, and honestly, what a place! I loved the atmosphere, the food, and the service. Everything was perfect and made my birthday extra special.

Really nice! Charming little restaurant, possibly the best service we had in Ireland. Very responsive and quick!!! (usually I wouldn’t care for much attention, but Ireland is notoriously slow service. Most places leave you waiting for the bill even after you ask). Cocktails were great, meat was perfection! All the bang for the buck.

I had a very nice steak here. Good quality, cooked to perfection. The only problem was a long wait for it, and the crowd that this place draws are very loud.

It is certainly a very popular spot.

Great Service, food was nice too (Steak was was nice, maybe a little over cooked for Medium) but still nice. We were put in the seating area upstairs, which was a big noisy to be honest, as there was a large party next to us of about 10 people, who were having plenty of drinks and were screaming. But it didn’t put us off. I would still recommend the place for dinner or a night out, but! Would suggest you ask for downstairs seating.

A must try restaurant in Dublin.I will recommend the F.X. Buckley Steakhouse at Pembroke Street location which is the original with a grocery store attached. We booked a 1 pm reservation since dinner is fully booked. They just opened at the time so the place is not crowded. This allows us to walk around and take some photos. A nice staff gave us a mini tour of the restaurant and learn the history of it. They even have a storage room under the street!
History is interesting. Service is great, steak is cooked to perfection. House made cocktail is refreshing. This is the best restaurant that we tried during our 9 days stay in Dublin. Highly recommend and be sure to avoid the crowd.

Our experience was world class in here..The staff were 10/10 – friendly professional and so attentive without bsing over bearing.
The food was just amazing. Steak cooked exactly as we asked The flavors worked together perfectly. Couldnt praise it enough and excellent portions. Hard to pick a highlight – but the beef dripping chips were the best we’ve had.
Can’t wait to go back already
