The “Best” comfort foods, cocktails and coffee in Centre. Located in the heart of downtown. The pub is warm and intimate and has a charm you won’t get just anywhere. The menu is an artistry of delicious southern comfort foods with an urban edge. A true food journey for savoring. Whatever you do “Don’t ” forget the desert. Oh my! When I want to eat out, this is my place.

If you have been here before… it’s been refreshed. The area has been opened up. There are more seats and tables. The previous menu was sandwichs. The remodel included a full kitchen so the menu is much better. I had the Chili Cheese Pub Fries. The portion was much larger than I could imagine consuming. The flavors were great. Service was outstanding. The bar staff were constantly checking on me. There is now a coffee shop as well but separated.

I’ve visited here a few times before and it has always been great, but this visit was especially memorable. We were invited to attend their private Valentine’s Day dinner, and it was absolutely worth the drive. The drinks were excellent and every course was well prepared. I started with the bruschetta, followed by the house salad and a warm, flavorful lobster bisque. The butcher’s steak was phenomenal, and we finished the night with a delicious lava cake. Even though it was busy, the service was outstanding and our server remained attentive the entire evening. Highly recommend — 10/10 experience.

FC Weiss Pub & Eatery is such a great spot! The food is absolutely delicious, the music keeps the vibe lively, and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Perfect place to grab a bite, hang out with friends, and enjoy a great night out. Highly recommend the Pub fries and Hog Island Cuban!

Food: great! French Dip and Cuban. Service: Cordial and prompt, no smiles. It was early for dinner, with only one other patron at the bar while we were there. Atmosphere: Two servers were working and their speech was loudly foul, which didn’t contribute to a nice atmosphere, but whatever. This is our 2nd time here, first time recommended by friends. We have vacation property nearby and will be back.

The food was great and the atmosphere and people were also. You have to try the Reuben Egg rolls! They were so good but so was the burger and the chicken sandwich. Definitely will be going back!!

My husband had a court case in Centre, AL and I decided I would check out the town while he was in court.

I went over to F.C. Weiss Pub and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and southern hospitality was on point.

The food was great and I had the best Spicy Bloody Mary EVER!!

I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat and a drink.

What the owner of this establishment lacks in physical stature he makes up for in jovial kindness, generosity, care, and compassion for his staff and his employees. I was greeted upon entry, my needs were met and once the lights were off for the evening the air ducts were more than comfortable for my sleeping conditions. Upon my second wandering among this establishment in the morning hours I was delighted to find a rich history and appreciation for the scenery however my one quest alludes me. What does the F.C. in F.C. Weiss stand for? This mystery haunted my being from top hat to toes and I immediately wanted to find answers so I could move on with my next quest in life’s great adventure. Fredrick Chopain perhaps? No. Field and Cream akin to the southern beauty and rural heritage found only in this region. Nay. Full Course, to encourage one to enjoy their evening nary a glass of water and coffee between a large hearty meal?? Not in the slightest. This great mystery has eluded me for years, a wonder that could only be found among the forgotten tomes within the great library at Alexandria lost to the seas, but perhaps there in lies the answer. It’s not about what it stands for but what the observer wishes for it to be, really one could even say that they’re their own F.C. Weiss. A symbol of elegance, pride, love, perchance more. We are all F.C. Weiss and by that observation one could say that F.C. Weiss is everything and more. Which brings me to my final words. I suggest everyone visit this cathedral of class, monolith to mysticism, structure of stature and I encourage you to try all of its finest offerings as there lacks no poor options on the menu as the business radiates an emotional wealth and compassion only found in the most kindly and caring of homes. A sixth star for their alcohol selection and their ability to accommodate the needs of anyone and everyone. Until our paths cross again. Sincerely,

F.C. Weiss
