Decided to stop by for take-out on the way home from a long day. Great choice! The chicken tenders were awesome! The original chicken was very good. The rolls and mashed potatoes are good too. Good service, very attentive and great sense of humor, very light and positive. Great dinner!

The savings grace for the food was the dipping sauce. The chicken has no flavor. I would not recommend it. The restaurant was crazy hot. The staff was friendly. I didn’t understand the nearly 5 star rating on this place.

I mean it’s not the real ezell’s ezell’s was doing heaven sent chicken and then that just kind of stopped all of a sudden because of covid. I hope ezell makes a comeback or actually takes back over the these franchises cuz man the quality has gone down since it changed I remember when it first opened up across the street from Garfield nothing like those days. I never thought I’d see Asians cooking soul food got to protect the culture in order to protect the legacy but you know they just use the man’s face and stuff and I hope he’s getting paid for it but geez bring back the original ezells nothing about it taste the same. Mediocre fried chicken place if you are looking for juicy spicy chicken sandwiches and tenders.
We got the spicy tenders which was meh along with some mediocre cajun fries. Not spicy at all

Absolutely delicious, Always order spicy because it’s mostly flavor and not spicy at all. Plus the original/mild is tasteless and not worth your money. Ezell’s makes the best bread rolls you could ever eat. I’m disappointed that this location doesn’t offer Faygo beverages. If you’re from the Central District and grew up on Ezell’s chicken near Garfield High since the mid 90’s you know exactly what I’m referring to.
