I live in Atlanta but come down to this area every year to visit family. While Atlanta is a culinary playground …let’s just say Ahoskie is not , lol. I’m usually in the area for months at a time and one of the things I miss the most about ATL is all the great Chinese food options ( it’s my favorite cuisine after Mexican ).
Out of the options in Ahoskie , one Chinese place is way to greasy and the one where the food is pretty decent was so filthy the last time I went it there, I vowed to never eat there again.
Imagine my delight when on my most recent stay in the area to find a new Chinese restaurant EZ Yummy.
I grew up in the area so I remember when it was Little Panda. So I figured , I’ve give it a try.
I looked at some reviews online and they were… mixed. Although I did get a kick out of the owner
( or an employee) clapping back at people who left bad reviews , lol.
After visiting , Im glad to say that my experience at EZ Yummy was excellent !
The restaurant was spotless and the cashier was friendly.
We just missed the lunch time specials. I believe the way the cashier explained it is that you can get 1,2, or 3 entrees with a side? ( similar to Panda Express)
We opted to get 2 beef options with white rice , Beef and Broccoli and Teriyaki Beef. Both were very good !
The beef was tender, the white rice was fresh and fluffy and the vegetables were crisp and seasoned well. I was very pleased !
I read reviews about the food being cold , lackluster etc but none of that applied to my meal or experience.
I’m glad Ahoskie now has a decent option for good Chinese food and I will be eating at EZ Yummy again the next time I’m in the area!

We spent over $35 on chicken and beef bulgogi, and an order of pork gyoza, the pork gyoza was the best thing, the other dishes should not be called bulgogi, that is not how bulgogi is made or taste, they should say stir fry because of the big vegetables they put in the dish, not pictured is spring roll (1/10) very mushy filling. I say try it for yourself, I don’t recommend but this is just my opinion (form your own opinion at your risk)

My family and I tried this place the first time last night. It’s not like every other Chinese food place. You can tell the food is freshly made and tastes so good. The fried rice was amazing and not that weird yellow rice everywhere else has, you can tell the rangoons were fresh, and even the sweet and sour sauce tasted homemade. You might wait a few mins but that is because they’re making it all fresh. It’s worth the few mins wait. It’s a very cute place, very clean, with a simple menu without 10000 items (which is refreshing) but they have something for everyone. They even gave a little treat with the food, just in time for Halloween. This place is a new favorite. I’d post photos but we ate our food too fast because it was so good. Give them a try!

Food generally tastes fairly good. But every time that I’ve been, it has not been hot or even very warm. I have told them.
And they charge $2.50 for a refill of tea. And the cups aren’t very big.
You’ve got to be kidding. I would have spent 5 bucks for 50 cents worth of tea.
I realize that they don’t have a big customer base. But gouging the customers they do have is not going to grow the business.
I left my comments with them.
I won’t be going back.

Great food. The options are excellent. Nothing like the low reviews you see I promise. We had the General Tso’s & it didn’t disappoint! Savory, tangy, sweet & spicy all in one! Give this a try once. You’ll come back.

Amazing boba! Really liked the beef bogoli. Me and my boyfriend ate the whole thing in one sitting and its a fairly large serving size. Favorite new restaurant in Ahoskie!!
