Lunch special was tasty and a lot for your money. Egg roll was pretty good, and I also had broccoli and beef and cashew chicken. You can’t beat the lunch special for $7.50.

This is an excellent place to order takeout Chinese food! While some comments mention the decor, it’s evident that they prioritize the quality of their food. The restaurant offers seating for dining in, although there aren’t many available. I highly recommend this place to anyone considering it as a go-to spot!

First off when you walk in it stinks like mildew but I was on a time crunch and not familiar with the town so I stayed to try and give the benefit of the doubt… I asked for an order of egg rolls and never got them i got chicken fried rice and the eggs were burnt and hardly any chicken .. no flavor at all except burnt egg.. I will never eat there again

The prices are reasonable, the food is excellent, the decor not so much. It is tucked back in a strip mall on the southwest corner of Knoxville and Pioneer Parkway. I eat there a couple of times a month. It is very sparse inside, they have a few uncomfortable booths and 1 table with chairs. The walls are painted either a strange yellow or an off white that bothers my eyes. My guess is that it is an attempt to make the small space look bigger. That is why my orders are always to go.
Asthetics aside, the smell when you walk in the door is absolutely amazing, particularly if they are busy. The young lady that takes your order is very polite and courteous. The kitchen is very efficient. I usually go by on my way home, and even when really busy, the longest I have had to wait for my order was 15 min, it is normally about 5-10. Call ahead for a quick pickup.
The food is absolutely wonderful. My go to is the Orange Beef, but I have tried many of the items on the menu and they have all been fantastic!
Overall a great place.

I ordered the sesame chicken, which left much to be desired. Thus an assumption could proclaim this restaurant is an exemplary instance of MSG wishful thinking – if you want early 2000’s Asian cuisine, may you look no further.
I’ve had hundreds of LA Asian restaurants, but they are not the best. Please visit Sunny House in West Peoria if you desire a true LA Chinese experience.
Overall – disappointed – but honestly a great price point for those who want to help a small family business.
It is our job to help them have the tools they need. Their sauce is the best.
They are 100k from Panda Express competitors.
A chef should intervene, but this company gas an amazing chef. More finances are needed, get on it.

I get take out from Express Wok a lot. The food is GOOD and the prices are not outrageous. I like their Garlic Chicken, their Beef Broccoli, and their Won Ton Soup. They are often open until 9pm which is good, too. They cook up food fresh. (Some places cook up food early in the day and just warm it up–which you can taste and it’s not great!). The lady at the register is nice. I think she may be co-owner or part of a family ownership. The atmosphere is a bit standard with booths that have the plastic-y type curved benches, not padded benches, that’s why I gave a 4/5 in that area. I really like this place.

I ordered black pepper chicken, egg drop soup, and crab rangoons. While the soup was good, the other two were very good! Very fresh ingredients and well prepared. Definitely will go back.

Had the Spicy Garlic Chicken for lunch, it came with pork fried rice and an egg roll, it was good. The chicken came out steamed not breaded and it was mild not spicy ( which I asked for). Not too busy for a lunch hour. Place was clean. Prices are affordable.
