Express Family Restaurant is true Southern hospitality at its finest! It’s a small place, but it’s absolutely packed with flavor and heart. I got the ham and cheese hoagie with fries and a side of brown gravy—everything was delicious! My mom had the Italian hoagie with fries and loved it too. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of that homemade taste. Whether you dine in or take out, it feels like you’re sitting at a friend’s table. Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting!

I saw a sign that said founded in 86, and that’s the last time any update was made. This place is a complete dive, and I mean that in the best sense.
The interior isn’t luxurious or modern. The menu is very limited, but I’ve eaten at hawker centre stalls, that only serve one thing but still have Michelin stars.
I had a roast beef with fries. The brown gravy is delicious and they toasted the roll so well the sauce didn’t make the bread turn to mush. Pulling apart the sandwich an arms length of cheese stretched out, and this was still after the 10 min drive back to my office.
I will have to be back for the other sarnies and chicken.

Love the spaghetti! This particular visit, the noodles were mushy or over done so you may want too mention you don’t want that. But the taste is amazing and every other visit has always been great!

Whenever I go out of town I always tell people there is this place back home that has the best roast beef sub sandwiches I have ever had at any place across America! I have had their other food as well and it was outstanding but they’re roast beef sub sandwich is out of this world! If I could give it more than five stars I would.

This place is definitely budget-friendly—$35 for three people—but even at that price, the quality didn’t quite match up. The menu is just a small sign up top, which makes ordering a little inconvenient. I had a salad from their cold section, and it was fine, but nothing special. The others had a lasagna dish and spaghetti, and neither looked particularly appetizing. The flavors were pretty basic, and while I wasn’t expecting gourmet food, I hoped for something a little more satisfying.
That said, the service was friendly, and our waitress checked on drinks multiple times, which I appreciated. If you’re looking for an extremely affordable meal and aren’t too picky, it could work. It’s not a place I’d rush back to, but for the price, it’s an okay option.
