Reviews
Tasty chicken dum biriyani. Although I would have preferred bone in pieces for the chicken dum biriyani. Just a personal preference. Regardless it was delicious.
Its looks unassuming from outside but once inside it has movie posters and nice soft velvet covered chairs.
The food was spicy with lots of flavor as well.
You can also ask for less spicy if you prefer. We went at 8:30pm and there were only people at one table. Shortly after the restaurant was full. We were the only non east Indians there so you know the food is great.
We had butter chicken garlic naan, chicken tika masala, biriyani, paneer tiki masala.
However, the portion size for the price point was extremely disappointing. Paying $25 and receiving just three small drumsticks is, in my opinion, quite absurd. This was actually my third time ordering takeout from here, and on every occasion I’ve walked away feeling the same way — satisfied with the taste, but not with the value for money.
I’ve also noticed that when I’ve been there in person, there weren’t many dine-in customers. They may very well be busy with delivery orders, but in the customer service industry, perception matters. When pricing doesn’t align with portion sizes, it affects customer retention — regardless of how good the food tastes.
I don’t have photos to attach, but my reviews across establishments have always been honest and fair. I give credit where it’s due — and the flavor here is genuinely good. That said, will I be a repeat customer? I highly doubt it. Exotic Indian Eats should revisit their pricing and customer experience strategy if they want to retain long-term customers.
Next the food we ordered was spicy but it was not as expected.
And most important there were too many flies we were waving hand so that flies don’t fall into the food. There was server i guess who saw doing that but no action from him too. But unfortunately a fly fell into the food and we have to left the food as it is.
At the time of billing he asked us did you used the water bottle to drink. Of course we will use it because they give us when we asked the water. The point is they should tell us before thy gave not a the time of billing.
And that guy who was at reception was smiling when I told him you should tell me before you charge us. Even that time We didn’t talked rudely first we paid the bill and then told about this water and flies incident and even I took the video and showed him too but he has no answer… but it was total unhygienic. Putting the video here to show so they might take some actions to curb this problem.
NOT COMING BACK for sure.
