We’ve been wanting to go to Exit 5 BBQ for a long time and we finally did it
The first thing I noticed is the clean air. Many BBQ places are full of cooking smoke, but Exit 5 did not have any of that.
We ordered a small combo, which was the perfect size for three. Any more than that would have put us over the top.
The meat tasted fresh, and the portions decently sized. The banchan variety is better than average, much better than what you get from the big BBQ places.
Service was great. The hostess, the waiter, everyone was very attentive. After ordering on the tablet the food came out fast. And there were frequent check ins to ask if wert needed anything.
Overall, the food, the service, the atmosphere, everything checked out. I will definitely go back again

We had an amazing time at Exit 5 Korean BBQ! The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server Andrew made the experience even better — he’s Indonesian too and was super friendly, helpful, and great with my family. Thanks, Andrew, for the awesome service! Definitely recommend this place! ❤️

No, you don’t have to worry about smelling like Korean bbq here! This was a great group dinner experience and the combo is the way to go.
Pros:
1. Their grill fan ventilated underneath the bottom instead of above so you don’t have to be cautious of your hair and clothes smelling like KBBQ.
2. Hosts and servers are really nice. They will help you cook and cut if you want a night off from cooking
3. The *unlimited combo sides are so yummy! Our faves were the spicy kimchi, green salad, and seaweed salad.
4. Even though we were a large group of 5, we were able to split the $99 small combo meant for 2-3 people and it was plenty of food enough for two small leftover boxes.
5. Bathrooms were extremely well-kept and squeaky clean.
6. Despite other reviewers, you do not have to pay for leftovers if you don’t abuse it and pretend like it’s all-you-can-eat. Be nice to the staff and honest on your portions, people.
Cons:
1. *Apparently the rice sides on combos are NOT unlimited so you had to pay $3 per extra rice.
2. The wings were overly salty and heavily breaded, not what I’d expect with Korean wings.
3. The pork belly was underwhelming and not as flavorful as the other Mixed Combo meats.

This place is phenomenal. It’s always the best when we find a restaurant that’s so kid-friendly and attentive because eating out with kids can be so stressful.
When we go with our young children, they bring out little trays with rice and small cutlery for them to use. The staff are always watching, anticipating our needs, and offering helpful things. They genuinely seem to like kids and take extra care for their safety when changing out the hot grills.
I’m always surprised that they’re so quick to change out our grill plates, refill our banchan, and bring out our food so quickly, even on the busiest weekend nights. Ordering food is easy because you just do it on a tablet and it makes it easy for kids to see the pictures and pick what they want to eat, without any pressure to rush.
We love it here.

Excellent KBBQ in Renton! Selection is great and the quality is great. Ventilation system at the table is pretty good, so smell after is not much of a concern. Awesome nangmyeon, too!Prices on the high side, but worth it if you don’t want to travel to Federal Way or Tacoma.

Excellent service—-shout out to our super attentive, professional and friendly server Nathan! It made a big difference to my experience! While we have several Korean bbq places where I’m from—-here, the service was stellar! Amazing seafood and don’t judge, what a delight for them to have pork intestines, well done! The place was aesthetically pleasing and clean! It’s located in a cool hub next to Boeing and so worth the drive. Food was delish!!!

The service here was exceptional from start to finish. I wish I had gotten the names of the two servers that helped us because they truly went above and beyond—constantly checking in, helping with the grill, and making us feel so valued by being courteous, efficient, and so attentive. They kept our grill fresh, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were taken care of the whole night. They made my mom’s birthday amazing! (We were there around 5:30pm today 12/2, they were about college aged and both wore glasses. hoping this can get passed onto them and they get recognition)
One of the best Korean BBQ experiences I’ve had. You can tell the team really cares about providing a great experience. Highly recommend this place and will be back because of the great service we received.

If you’re willing to spend some cash, definitely come here. The banchan itself has a nice portion and tastes delicious, but the main star of the show is the meat and corn cheese. Their corn cheese is to live for; something so delicious I genuinely can’t get off my mind. In addition, their meat is very tender and delicious. I enjoy having great service, and this place is something that definitely puts thought into that. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe and the interior design is nice. Will be coming back soon.

5/5 on all categories. Fast delivery of food after ordering, great service (replaced burnt cooking trays multiple times without needing to ask). Sides were unlimited w the combo meal. Bit on the pricier side but such a good experience. Pictured is the small mix combo (pork and beef) and the somaek tower for 197 pre tax.
