Daryl’s chorizo bowl is a 10/10. Their vanilla latte is delish. Not too milky and still tastes like a coffee. Even just a drip coffee black coffee is great. Atmosphere is cozy, and the baristas are very friendly.

As a gluten free person, do you know the feeling of eating something and being worried you were given the wrong food because it tastes a little TOO good? That’s how I felt eating my bacon egg and cheese biscuit this morning. The flakey, light buttery experience was almost too convincing! My nerves were soothed by the fact that it disintegrated in my hands pretty quickly oh well, it’s gluten free – what can you expect!
I’ve loved Exchange Coffee Co. since they opened. I even had my 14th birthday party here 10 years ago! They always are improving the quality of everything they make from biscuits and scones to cinnamon rolls and crepes I always feel like I have delicious options. (This is my formal request to be able to get more frosting on the side for cinnamon rolls lol). If you are familiar with Tandem Creperie in TR, and you’re underwhelmed by their gluten free crepes, you HAVE to try this place.
And to top it all off, the staff here is wonderful! I notice how careful everyone is to keep things from being cross contaminated (within reasonable standards), and they are so sweet and helpful! Also, shoutout to Abby for being a sweet familiar face and remembering my name. ↕️

Exchange Co Coffee & Bakery in Simpsonville is such a gem! I absolutely love the biophilic vibe with all of the beautiful plants throughout the shop. The whole place smells amazing, is spacious, and kept very clean. The upstairs is my favorite spot—filled with greenery and plenty of open space to either get some work done or just relax and hang out. Can’t wait to stop back in the next time I’m in the area!

This shop is so cute! There is upstairs seating and merchandise. I came in and the batistas were SO friendly and helpful. They were out of biscuits, but let me know they had gluten free alternatives, which sometimes are a little chalky tasting, but was actually really good. Their spicy jelly was so yummy. We ordered one hot and one cold coffee and they accidentally gave us two cold.. they fixed it no problem, they were so nice about it. Also tried the crepe with berries and it was SO good! Not overly sweet, yet flavorful.

Really enjoyed my visit to Exchange Coffee Co.! The atmosphere was cozy with plenty of seating, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I tried one of their specials – an iced Coca-Cola with espresso and vanilla cold foam. It was really good and super refreshing. A great spot to relax or get some work done. I’ll definitely be back!

Such a beautiful place and delicious food! Also of note is their mission to support foster care and adoption. Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Love the plants throughout and the more spacious seating upstairs. We each had something different and everyone enjoyed their meals! I will go back when in the area!

Great food, so many options for gluten free people! Loved trying a savory crepe and would try a sweet one next time. Everything here is very clearly labeled and they have lots of baked goods as well. Also happy that the alternative milk price was $0.50 instead of more like other cafes.
Super cute atmosphere and they’re building a second floor space as well.

I love this coffee shop. Super cute place to enjoy coffee. The atmosphere is so relaxing…plants make up most of the decor and they even have small plants available for purchase. The merch is the icing on the cake, I love a cute tee. Pop on over to Exchange Coffee, it’s delicious!

Excellent coffee and food. Had a Peach Hand Pie and a Adult milkshake and can’t be happier. So I went back and got a cafe leche sumpinorother with a chorizo bowl and found out I could indeed get happier. Great spot hidden in plain sight. Skip the fast food and Exchange it for something good!
See what I did there? Exchange it. Get it? Exchange. I crack me up.
