I actually ate in the Tavern because the restaurant is only open on the weekends. They have the same menu.
I sat at the bar with my diet coke. Everyone was very friendly including the workers, owner, and locals. We had a great time. It turns out that the owner is the artist who created the hotel and all the art on the enchanted highway. If you meet him, ask him his story. It is incredible. His right hand man was there too. They make America great.
I had the castle burger with fries. The meat was outstanding. The hamburger was quite delicious. I ate it so fast, I forgot to take pictures. I finished up with carrot cake. It was good.
I would eat there anytime.

The food was excellent. It was prepared with care and expertise comparable to a 3 star dining experience. The atmosphere was enchanting, pun intended, and the owner takes pride in what he has done and accomplished. It’s nice to meet business owners that care about their creations and actually participate in the business.

What a delicious restaurant in such a cool place! The service, the atmosphere, the friendliness, and the steaks and burgers were amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend my husband’s birthday. We can’t wait to see the Enchanted Highway tomorrow and marvel at all the gigantic beautiful artwork! The dragon and knight outside the castle are quite impressive and it’s just a fun place to stay! The owner and staff are awesome, and we can’t wait to come back again! You’ve gotta come here!!!

The wait person was very new, but very friendly and did not try to hide his inexperience. I had the Ribeye and crab legs and it was delicious! Not a big fan of Garlic Mashed potatoes, but they were good for what they were. We went for my girl friends birthday and it was a fine dinner, with many stories to be told after. The double chocolate cake was good for her,, to dark for me. Overall I am very glad we were at the Enchanted Castle Hotel and the Excalibur Steakhouse.
