We had the opportunity to eat at Evolve Kitchen & Table right before the Clemson fall semester started back up again. Restaurant was relatively empty which gave us the opportunity to check out the decor, seating, and meal. Our waitress was Adrianna, and she was very helpful to explain the menu to us, the restaurant’s mission and answer any questions we had. Additionally, she was able to make several recommendations.
The menu is outstanding! From starters like crispy Brussels, baked pimento cheese and crispy cauliflower, the selection is quite unique. Tacos, char-grilled Angus burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and salads fill out the menu. A great number of delicious choices to choose from.
In the end, we settled on the smoked brisket tacos and “The Cheese” char-grilled angus burger. Both packed incredible flavor and were an excellent choice. Quite frankly, looking at the menu, and the freshness of the ingredients, you just can’t go wrong. Beware! I ordered the dessert which ended up being a full pint of ice cream. It was delicious.
My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. I’m sure it will get crowded on game days, but I think it is worth the wait. A really enjoyable meal, with a great waitress, in a comfortable setting.

The chicken bites are just chicken nuggets which they do not inform you of, do not get these unless you want to pay $10 for bad quality chicken nuggets. The waitress didn’t write our order down so she forgot to bring the drink I had ordered. Burger was good though.

My wife and I had a fantastic dinner here on February 6, 2026. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was outstanding. When we realized days later (back home in Georgia) that she’d left her wallet behind, we tracked it with an AirTag and called. The staff immediately confirmed they had it safe, then went above and beyond by taking it to the UPS store themselves to ship it back to us at no charge. That kind of honesty and kindness is rare—thank you so much! We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Clemson. Highly recommend!

I visited your establishment a couple of weeks ago. While the food was okay, I am writing to share some concerns regarding the hygiene practices I observed in your open kitchen.
During my visit, several staff members, including the manager or owner , were frequently using their cellphones and then handling food without washing their hands. Additionally, I observed one of the staff members touching his nose while cooking.
When operating an open kitchen, it is important to maintain high sanitary standards, as customers can see everything that occurs. I hope you will address these hygiene issues with your team. Sorry but I will not back again.

First let me say, we found this hidden gem years ago. This has been our “go to place” when in town for soccer or football. Yes, it is always crowded but worth the wait. Zander (at the bar) manages the seating with excellence. As far as the menu, it has unique options. At first glance, the categories seem typical…. sandwich, taco, burger, wrap, salad. But dig deeper and don’t be afraid to try something new. We have had almost everything on the menu and nothing is disappointing. You can order some normal typical things like the Chicken Caesar wrap with a side of homemade chips. But there’s special things too. Read the ingredients, notice the variety of burger options, see the quality toppings on a taco. For example, my salad today…. Roasted brussel sprouts with a special dressing. A MUST to try. Add some grilled chicken on top to increase protein. We love the adult vibe in a busy college town bar environment. It’s our favorite place. We will be back.

Amazing food and great vibes! We tried the chimichurri steak press and it was delicious. The loaded nachos are also very good. The server was attentive and we didn’t have to wait for a table. A must-visit in Clemson, and probably the most “adult” restaurant in the downtown area.

Absolutely the best place to eat in Clemson. Evolve has always been a favorite spot for us since moving here 2 years ago. This past weekend we used Evolve to cater the food for our staff Christmas party. When I spoke with Michael he asked what we were thinking and I told him we were hoping for Italian food and asked if that would be possible given they don’t have anything italian on their menu. Let me just say, I was blown away with the food. They made chicken parm, chicken alfredo, roasted brussels, and garlic herb mashed potatoes. Phenomenal is probably not a strong enough adjective. I am not a fan of red sauce and their red sauce was the best I have ever had and makes me want to become a fan!
No matter the occasion Evolve has what you didn’t even know you wanted. From a casual lunch of burgers and brisket nachos (which are the greatest ever) to a custom made catering menu. Go here you will be glad you did!

Probably the some of the best, most fresh food I have had in Clemson. A breath of fresh air when it concerns culinarily stops in the upstate of SC. Our waitress Delany was awesome basically covered the restaurant by herself! Kid and Adult friendly! Our food was prepared just how we ordered it. The Shrimp tacos are a must must! Covid aware and properly worn masks. Definitely a must try!
We started with the FGT’s and the dish was served with a pesto aioli and bacon jam! OMG… this made for an unbeatable take on FGT’s.
The shrimp tacos were light, spicy, savory and crunchy, the tortilla chips were also a great compliment especially with fresh guacamole for dipping.
Do NOT forget dessert, caramel filling in a traditional churros and chocolate sauce for dipping is definitely a spectacular shareable dessert!
***Update*** it’s been over 6 months since We have been here. Still phenomenal! The fried green tomatoes are the best I have ever had, in the state! It will rival anything in Charleston, with this rendition which comes with a pesto aioli and a bacon jam!
Pop’s says his French dip was very tasty! And he has eating a few I’m sure. The aus jus is so legit. The staff work very hard, to prepare consistent good tasting food, and it shows. They split the Cali club for my wife and I plated separately for us. College town feel. Wonderful staff. Great food. What’s not to like.
