Yummy, yummy, yummy. One of the best garlic knots I’ve eaten. Chicken bacon ranch is a must. Can’t wait to try all the other pies.

Seriously the best pizza I’ve tried in NJ! Friend recommended the place and went on a whim. Ordered the margarita and pepperoni and holy moly, so simple and tasty. The crust is so crispy and delicious and I literally ate every bite. Definitely coming again!

Evoli Pizzeria And Bistro in Hackensack, NJ. Come experience the delicious pizza at this family owned pizzeria and bistro in Hackensack, NJ! The pizza dough is hand stretched and holds all of the toppings perfectly. Even the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza had no flop! I was seriously impressed! Down to Earth pizza shop with DELICIOUS pizza! I decided to pay them a visit after Barstool’s review and drove from WNY for this pie, it was soooo worth it. I got a Margarita pie and it was everything I wanted it to be. Crusty and chewy doe, slightly sweet and juicy tomato sauce, mozzarella was heavenly tasty, and some fresh basil for the win. I had for good measure and left for breakfast the next day

I’m a shameless fan of One Bite Pizza, so when I saw Dave Portnoy take a bite of a slice from Evoli and let out a surprised, “Huh…good!” I already knew I’d be coming in for a visit.
We got a margherita pie with added mushrooms and sausages. The handmade pie took a little bit, but it was certainly a conversation-stopper when it arrived. It was hot, loaded with toppings, and had a healthy drizzle of olive oil. Eating it was even better. The cornmeal-dusted crust had pretty decent structural integrity (considering the toppings it had to hold up), and while the sauce was a little tangier than I would’ve liked, the proportions of crust to sauce to cheese was spot on.
Evoli is a family-owned business and they’ve been in their current Hackensack location for about five years now. All the people here are sweet as pie, and I especially loved seeing the owner’s little girl dancing around and showing off her Power Ranger toy to anyone who showed interest. There’s talk about selling their business and changing locations, but so long as the old guard is here, I absolutely recommend checking them out.

First time going here, absolutely fantastic pizza! The dough is whole and full, but not overly chewy, the sauce is perfectly sweet, and the cheese is not overpowering. Beautiful Sicilian pie.
Inside seating area is small, limited, but functional and cute.
Actually had an issue with the order, the toppings were not on the pizza, but the staff had already given me an order of wings so it was a moot point for me. The staff ended up calling me 15 mins after pickup and said they realized their mistake, said to mention it next time I came in for some assistance. Very kind of them!

Really good pizza that is traditional style but mixed with a little modern twist. Still feels like your local pizza shop but pizza these days needs to be really on points and this is one of the places. The owners name is Rob and he’s from the area, really cool guy. Highly recommend checking it out

Been coming to Evoli’s since Dave’s Portnoy visit. I can say that this is the best pizza I have ever ate. The slices are big. The sauce is perfect. The crunch is perfect. 10/10!

My slice was very good tasting, but there was not much variety at all when I went. The pizzas looked like they’d been there for a while.
The parking was difficult to impossible in that area, and it wasn’t a weekend either.

Their classic is very good. Fantastic crisp and very good under carriage. Definitely an 8 to 8.2 pizza. A must go.
