She was flexible, accommodating, and made the entire planning process feel effortless. Any stress we had going into the reception completely disappeared because we knew we were in good hands.
On the day of, they truly made it so we did not have to worry about a single thing. All we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves. They handled the decorating beautifully and made everything look amazing. Julie and her team constantly checked in on us throughout the night to make sure we had food, drinks, and even a quiet place to step away for a few minutes when we needed it. In addition, the food was exceptional, and our guests are still talking about the bangin’ shrimp!
As a bride and groom, that level of care meant everything. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. We are so grateful for Julie and her team for making our reception stress-free, seamless, and unforgettable. I would highly recommend this place!
Food is good. Had the chicken quesadilla, wife had a burger.
Best part is the view.
Small place, off the beaten path.
Good music.
Reasonable.
We used to be regulars at The Point, going weekly, but over time, the quality—followed by the service—began to decline. We’ve given it a few chances here and there, hoping for improvement, but nothing has stood out enough to make us regulars again.
Most recently, we visited on Sunday, February 16. They still had their Valentine’s Day specials, which looked good, but we ordered from the regular menu. My other half had the fish and chips, which were solid. I had the sole with seafood stuffing—light and fresh but a bit bland until I added some salt and a splash of lemon, which helped bring out the flavors. The garlic mashed potatoes were fantastic, and the asparagus was well-prepared.
One of my biggest frustrations is how frequently the menu changes. Some of my favorites from their original menu are long gone, and it feels like there’s no consistency. The same goes for the staff—I’ve noticed a revolving door of employees, including managers, which might explain the inconsistency. That said, the team working that evening was friendly, attentive, and helpful, which I appreciated.
Overall, The Point has potential, but the lack of stability in both the menu and staff makes it hard to rely on. I’d love to see them find their footing again.
Try the chicken ky ky and blackened fish sandwich both tremendous. The service is attentive but not intrusive
We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the Tiki hut. Coming back for the restaurant called
The Point.
Very impressed with the tasty food…
