The food is tasty and large quantity for the price. Plus it definitely fills you up; great comfort food. But the downside is it is super greasy and the meat dishes don’t have very much meat.
They are civil and give matter-of-fact customer service but I guess you’re not ordering from Evergreen Panda for the service. There are places to sit but most people pick up to go.
Pro tip: At peak times you should order waaaay in advance. They get so many orders it could take 45 minutes sometimes.

Not a nice customer experience from the lady. She didn’t even say hello, I had to approach her and when I asked to use the bathroom she said something that I couldn’t hear so I asked again and she said it’s closed, it was hard to get words out of her mouth, no smiling either. I’m not coming back to this place. The place doesn’t look very clean, spider webs everywhere. No tables available to eat. No napkins were placed with my order, I had to ask for it, forks are on a table exposed. The only good part was that the food was tasty and portions are considerate.

It is a take out only place. Very tasty food and very generous portions at a very reasonable price. Loved it. Highly recommend it.

4 stars on serv and atmosphere…no lunch seating and counter service…long waits on orders…but the food kills!!! Amazing flavors, fresh, really is delicious. Just that alone trumps the lower scores for an overall 5 star. Must try place and the price is right. Peking Ribs and thank you.

I’m so happy to have found probably one of the best tasting most original recipes Chinese food places left that haven’t closed down. I arrived at 2:00 pm a little past lunch the restaurant was to my surprised completely empty and was only serving carry outs. At first glance I wanted to head back out and go to another place but I went on ahead and place my order after briefly looking at the menu and recognizing all the familiar Chinese dishes nothing out of the ordinary that’s a plus for me I don’t care much for improvised versions of anything especially when it comes to food. I mean dishes that have been made to perfection shouldn’t be messed with that’s just my opinion. Anyways I’m starving haven’t had lunch and with a very prejudice mindset of a skeptic I went ahead and order beef chow fun which in case you don’t already know is a bigger rice vermicelli noodles wok fried with bean sprout dark soy and regular soy sauce until they get a tad bit Smokey from the breath of the dragon( the extremely high heat Chinese wok stove) so that’ll be my carbs and another dish that I’ve been dying to reunite my tastebuds with, is sweet and sour pork for my proteins knowing if you messed up this two dishes then you’re a dupe a fake and unworthy to even touch any type of wok. The little lady at the counter wasn’t interested with customer service in the slightest sense an as un-enthusiastic as possible. But uncaring also I can be about service and more focus on the cries of the tummy we manage to push our order through. It’ll be fifteen minutes for our order which sounds about right on for the proper preparation and cooking requirements of the ordered takeouts. I went out to my car to wait for my food fingers crossed. After fifteen minutes I went in and picked up my orders right on time as promised by the nice un-enthusiastic lady which demeanor have not changed in the slightest lol kudos to her just for being there. I immediately recognize the smokiness from the chowfun noddles even before opening it up. And with the price of food not being cheap they sure hook it up it was filled all the way up with the lid barely able to close. I dive right in I forked a piece of sweet n sour pork it’s slightly crunchy and soft from the sauce and scalding hot as I enter it into my data base. It was perfectly cook and seasoned with the right type of pork meat being used the perfect cut of pork that’s so familiar they bring tears to my eyes. Then I tried the perfectly cooked and seasoned Chowfun noodle it was super hot(be careful) with just the right hint of smokiness and colors I was so happy that somebody was there so I can share my humongous portions with. It was like $16 or $17 bucks each just the size alone will do the dish justice without even having to cook it to such perfection. I really didn’t want to share this review and keep this little hole in the wall for myself to enjoy but I didn’t want the last decently cook Chinese takeout to close down it would make me extremely sadden at such thought. I’ve been to so many Chinese place even palaces that couldn’t do sweet n sour pork justice like this place does I’m a huge fan of this place this is it if you want Chinese food that’s outstandingly good.

I went to pick up my order today — the food was good, but the front desk experience was honestly kind of scary. When I placed my order, the person at the front just stared at me the whole time like she were angry. After I got my food, I asked for two packets of chili sauce, and again they glared at me while handing it over. It was really uncomfortable and weird. I know it’s fast food and I don’t expect smiles, but being stared down like that was just too much…

I think their food is the best in San Jose. Don’t take my word for it, go try them yourselves. You will not be disappointed. It’s a to go only restaurant, so don’t plan on eating inside there.

Fast service, Delicious food and LARGE portions for a great price. My favorites so far out of everything I’ve tried is the Honey Walnut Shrimp, the Salt&Pepper Ribs and the Beef Chow Mein.
