On a chilly, rain-soaked evening, I sought the comforting warmth of Evergreen Korean Cuisine—a place I’ve visited several times for its authentic offerings. This visit proved no exception, delivering satisfying flavors that truly hit the spot.
The seafood pancake, while not the absolute best I’ve encountered, held its own with a generous scattering of green onions and a crisp texture. A respectable choice, though not necessarily a standout.
What took me by surprise were the soups, which far exceeded expectations. The short rib beef soup arrived with an understated appearance but revealed layers of rich, savory depth. The beef was impeccably tender, practically melting with each bite—a dish worthy of two enthusiastic thumbs up.
The cod stew followed a similar trajectory, its humble presentation belying a broth brimming with flavor and perfectly cooked fish.
Every dish ordered tonight brought genuine comfort and satisfaction. I’m eager to return and explore more of Evergreen’s menu—it’s a spot that consistently delivers warmth and authenticity.
Think they have one of the best gamjatang pork neck potato stew. The meat just falls right off with the perfect amount of spices .
The owner lady is also super nice and accommodating with children
It is hard to find good Korean restaurant where main and side dishes are good, but this is the one. I eat here many times when I am craving for authentic Korean foods.all the servers are kind and know what they are doing.
This is Korean BBQ place with other Korean dishes, it is pricy like other BBQ places, but I think it is worth my money.
Only thing I do not like is, when you are there at a peak time, you have to wait. Also it can be very loud like typical Korean BBQ just like in Korea with people drinking alcohols but no biggie.
The 20% tip is a waste. I think the tip should be given to the team cooking in the kitchen.
Even if it is equipped with a ringtone, there is no pretending to hear it and it is an unpleasant restaurant that makes me uncomfortable when serving food.
It is a place where there is no professional service spirit at all. Sales will rise only when you pay attention to hiring staffs.
