The interior is log and it’s rustic. It is very nice. I ordered chicken fried steak and it was the best chicken fried steak I’ve had in years. It’s just exactly as if my mother had made it. The atmosphere is friendly. There’s plenty of parking. It’s located and a very beautiful setting. If you want an outdoor event, there’s a deck outside with plenty of seating and if it’s hot they have umbrellas that open up. They accept credit and debit and cash. This place was an exceptional surprise. I would hardly recommend a road trip to visit this place for a meal or a drink. Afterwards. Explore the community of Story Montana.

Decided to give this place a try while visiting Story, Wyoming. About a year ago we went and I wasn’t sure that I would be able to find anything to eat as I’m a Celiac. I did order a drink last year but this year I decided to see what I could find. I decided the nachos were a good bet as corn tortillas typically do not have gluten. Once I spoke with the waitress she spoke with the bartender and they worked on finding a solution for me. While the picture of the nachos may not look enticing to some, it is because they gave me shredded cheese on the side with the nacho cheese for my husband who is not gluten-free on the side. It was very nice that they were willing to go so far as to find something faith that I could eat while there. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful!!!! We tried the other bar in Story while we were here and had a less than ideal experience. So if you were choosing I would give this place a good look because they were friendly. Had a nice atmosphere, decent food and good drinks.

Relatively simple bar menu, but they offered a special both nights we were there.
Their food prices are probably too low for their own good! Hand breaded crispy chicken sandwich & side was only $9.99 and they are really fair on their drink prices too.
And while the food was good – the service was fabulous!!! Everyone working there that we encountered went above and beyond, made us feel welcome and took great care of us!

We had the cheeseburgers at lunch and they were awesome and reasonably priced. They were very thick and when they came out quickly, I assumed that they would be undercooked. They were perfectly cooked all the way through. Our server was attentive and chatted with us because they were not busy. I would definitely recommend them.

Best pizza I’ve ever had. We are touring the country and have had bar pizza all over the place…but this guy makes his crust with special flour and uses a wood fired oven… No matter which toppings come on your pizza, make sure you ask Boe for the Habanero Sauce. He makes it in house and it’s phenomenal.
If you’re nice, you can get a container of the sauce to go, and you’ll be thankful you did!
The vibe of this bar is small-town-dive, but any experienced eye can see the details are being done up right. Clean bar, clean kitchen, super clean bathrooms.
On your tour of the Bighorns, DON’T SKIP TUNNEL INN!!

Stopped by for lunch, pepper burger was great (big patty) and BLT was delicious. Onion rings and sweet potato fries hot and fresh. It’s worth the trip. Friendly staff. Desserts are made in house!
