American eats such as breakfast plates & sandwiches fixed up in a humble, country-style setting.

This place is awesome! Best Grilled Chicken Salad I have ever had.
I asked the owner how the chicken tastes like that. He said they use a seasoned grill, so all those different tastes from everything cooked on the grill are mixed in. That taste really popped! And the vegetables were super fresh. I even enjoyed the bacon bits (not like me). I preferred the Thousand Island dressing over the Italian dressing for this meal. I didn’t eat the egg (I only eat scrambled eggs).
The second trip was more of a breakfast meal and also very strong. Super-fresh fruit, eggs cooked very well done as requested, good bacon, and quality toast.
I would give the first meal a 10 and the second meal a 9.4. Both incredibly high.
The staff is very friendly, the prices are fair, and they will accommodate anything you want that isn’t on the menu as long as they have it.
Highly Recommended!

This is comfort food at its finest! I’ve eaten at a lot of small town diners and the biscuits & sausage gravy are the best I’ve ever had. It was made with the drippings and was creamy and flavorful. The sausage was plentiful and the biscuits were soft and hearty. The eggs were soft scrambled, exactly to our order. Course ground grits are the best and these needed to be a bit thicker, but the cook and flavor were on point. I should have ordered them with cheese. The bacon and pancakes were delicious! The service was friendly and prompt and we felt right at home. Check out the picture of the hot chocolate, prepared “all the way”. It was warm and chocolatey with real whip cream and chocolate syrup. Beautiful!

We had brunch on a cold, rainy morning. The employees were friendly. Food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. Portions were large, but somehow we ate it all. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back!
Enjoyed it so much that we went back for lunch a couple days later. Equally as pleased and just as delicious! Employees are fantastic!

We must have arrived at the perfect time! We were seated immediately, and helped quickly. The service at Everett Street Diner is amazing! Shortly after we were there, the line was forming out front!
The menu is exactly what you would expect from a diner – we were not disappointed.
I got the Diner’s Famous Biscuits n’ Gravy Combo. The bacon was crispy, just how I like it; the grits were nice and creamy; the biscuits and gravy were delicious. My only critique of the food is that it could use a little more seasoning.
My wife got the French Toast Combo. The French toast was perfectly cooked. She also got the hot chocolate, which was perfect for a chilly day like today!
If you’re looking for diner food and atmosphere, you need to try Every Street Diner.

One of the best experiences I have had for local dining. It was super busy, we missed breakfast, due to the wait, and it did not matter. Lunch was awesome. The food tasted good, sweet tea was good, the staff friendly offering to display the kids artwork. I would highly recommend you stop in. The desserts looked amazing too.

Recently visited the Everett Street Diner during a weekend road trip through Western North Carolina. We were looking for brunch on a Labor Day Monday and managed to arrive toward the end of the breakfast service. This is a popular restaurant and there was a short wait but the staff were friendly and efficient and we were seated in the front dining area. The breakfast menu includes a variety of potions and portion sizes to fit one’s appetite, and one can add to a plate with a selection of side items. We sampled the biscuit and gravy combo and the build-your-own omelet plates. Both were superb! Atmosphere was friendly, service was very attentive and accommodating. Looking forward to a future visit to sample some of the other menu items.

The host was incredibly friendly and communicative, and everyone in our group loved him. He was very accommodating of our large group and was able to open up a few differnet tables and get us seated at the same time. Our waitress was also very nice and the food was delicious. I got the biscuits and gravy (chicken) and it was fantastic, but everyone in our group was happy with whay they got.

Can get VERY busy on weekends. Plan accordingly beforehand… especially if your hotel gave you coupons or certificates here…
Well worth it though! And I’m moreso a lunch/dinner kinda guy than a breakfast guy…

Arrived about 9 for breakfast and there was a line out the street. But wait was only about 15 min and week worth it. Very generous servings, cooked to perfection. Gracious, attentive staff. Fair prices. Interesting and attractive local-type decor.

I’ve been here every time I’m in town. Everett Street diner if absolutely outstanding every time.
The staff from the waitress to the owner are friendly, warm and attentive. The coffees are always topped up, lots of warmth and smiles going around.
I ordered the mountain fried steak, it’s smoothered with gravy on top. I figured that the bottom might be soggy but it wasn’t. Crispy with a pleasant crunch even on the bottom. I ordered the hash browns burnt, it came out golden brown and crispy. The over easy eggs are exactly that, over with a nice jiggle. The biscuit is a savory little pillow. Everything is flavored with good purpose. I devoured everything, left with an empty plate.I will be back over and over
