First time visiting Everest Dine in Hinckley.
First impressions were nice: modern and clean. There are a couple of steps at the entrance to the restaurant and another step inside.
The food was between average and good. The salmon dish was very dry, while the king prawns dish was lovely. However, it took a very long time from papadoms to main courses. As I took pictures of all the dishes, I checked the time and it took 55 minutes, which is a long wait, considering there were only three other tables to serve.
The restaurant is a decent size, but the tables are very close to each other. We were taken to a table directly behind another table with four customers. My chair was touching the chair behind me, and I couldn’t move it even a centimetre. Our table was a small square table for two people. My friend and I shared two main dishes, rice, and a side dish, but the table was far too small for all the dishes and drinks. I wanted to move my chair back a little, but I couldn’t. We didn’t understand why the restaurant was quite empty, yet customers were seated so close to each other.
The service was okay. There was only one waiter (not sure how many staff were in the kitchen), and the waiting time was long. However, the waiter was very friendly and polite.
There is no parking at the restaurant, but there is a car park right opposite with free parking after 6pm, as well as some street parking.

I visited this Nepalese and Indian restaurant recently and found the ambience to be quite appealing, providing a comfortable setting for dining. However, the food fell short in several aspects. Despite offering Nepalese dishes, some lacked authenticity in taste, disappointing those seeking an authentic experience. Some of the dishes were too sweet even when it was mentioned specifically spicy. Moreover, the flavors overall were underwhelming, failing to leave a lasting impression. Additionally, service was notably slow, which detracted from the dining experience. Overall, while Restaurant has its strengths, improvements in flavor authenticity and speed of service would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

Lovely meal this evening, food service and atmosphere was excellent. Food served quickly and delicious. This is our third time eating here and has always been excellent. It’s our first choice when eating out. Gurkha beer is excellent too.

My partner and I have been to Everest Dine four times in a fortnight. We keep coming back to try more of the menu because it’s all so delicious. The staff are professionals and give the right balance of attention without being invasive. The food really makes this place though. (Try the Momo)

If you’re unsure about trying Nepalese food, don’t be. There are a lot of dishes you’ll recognise, like those you get in Indian takeaways, but momos are the exception and taste amazing from here. Also, in comparison, the dishes are so fresh. Definitely will be our go-to curry house.

We went as a group of 4 last week on a Friday. The restaurant was less busy than I would have expected for the quality of food. We tried some different dishes we hadn’t heard of before. The service was fantastic and the dishes were hot, cooked perfectly and bursting with flavour. We will definitely be back

We have lived in Hinckley for almost 11 years and used to pass this place frequently when doing drop offs at the college etc….never really had the kerb appeal before. However, not sure what they’ve done to the outside but it now looks clean, inviting and draws you in. 5 star hygiene notices across the board are also reassuring. To summarise, this is now our go to for our Indian takeaway! We have had a meal in AND a takeaway in the space of 2 weeks!! All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals which were both vegetarian and meat dishes. Service was quick and friendly. Absolutely delicious food and would highly recommend ☺️
