I stopped in for the first time for a takeout order, just happened to stumble upon this restaurant online. I’m so glad I gave it a try!! Turns out I have a new obsession, and it’s trying every single grilled cheese sandwich Everdine’s has to offer. For my first order, I chose the Eddie Mack and Cheese sandwich paired with their classic tomato basil soup. I give the sandwich a 5/5 rating, extremely delicious!! The macaroni was perfectly cooked, and it being on the grilled cheese was soooo heart warming and delicious. The tomato basil soup was fine. I’m not entirely sure what my problem with it was, but I rate it a 3/5. Maybe some lemon juice would liven it up? I don’t know, but I will be experimenting in the future. Look forward to more updates: my goal is to try every sandwich by the end of 2026. If I get one every other week, I should get there!

AMAZING grilled cheese’s…so glad that I will be moving to the area soon…can’t wait to put this on the rotation! Great food, great service and great atmosphere…clean and inviting. Soooooo many sandwiches to choose from. I went with the Pot Luck (monthly special)…I personally think this should have a resident spot on the normal menu. Additionally, we had an Eddie Mac n Cheese and then a cup of the broccoli cheddar soup…all amazing and would highly suggest. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu on our next visit!

The employees were so nice! Today was our second time coming last time I just grabbed a regular grilled cheese we came back today with my wife and son they asked if we got a punch card last time I said no he gave us one and punched it for our previous visit also! I didn’t even ask for that the guy working just did it! He was very nice to my son also asked if he had teeth and I said yes why he gave him a couple apple slices free of charge! We’ll definitely be coming back! Food was great too!

Came in on Super bowl Sunday and I didn’t notice the sign saying they were closing early and had mostly cleaned everything down. Staff were super nice and accommodating, restarted the griddle to make me a fresh sandwich and it was really good. Great people and great food, will be coming back!

I really enjoyed my sandwich from Everdine’s today. The service was also excellent. I’m visiting my hometown of Batavia and was at the library across the street earlier when I noticed this new grilled cheese sandwich shop. So I came back for dinner. I didn’t know it when I walked in, but there were only less than 10 minutes from closing at 8 PM.
Having worked in the service industry, I know that it’s often not appreciated by staff at restaurants if you show up that close to closing. That was not the case here. Of the three employees I saw this evening. They were all very kind, understanding and diligently working.
I took my sandwich to go and ate it outside of the shop on the curb. One employee came out to retrieve the street sign and asked me how the sandwich was and if it was my first time at the restaurant. It was a great sandwich and he was the one that made it. A few minutes later, as I’m finishing my sandwich another employee comes out the cashier with the bag of chips that I forgot to take.
The food was good, the restaurant was clean, and the service was great. If I was the employer of tonight’s staff, I would be very happy. 08/08/2025

Wow!!! The employees at Everdine’s sure are working hard today!!! I waited so long for the Batavia location to open and I am so happy to see them flourish!!!! Super creative, delicious sandwiches. If you haven’t been yet, it’s time to check it out! If you have already been, then you know that you’ll keep coming back!!!
Everyone who has been working behind the counter for at least the past hour, deserves a bonus!! I wish I could’ve handed them each a nice green bill on my own!!

I drive past Everdine’s Grilled Cheese all the time and finally stopped in on a whim — so glad I did. The sandwiches were awesome, and the tomato soup was the perfect pairing. Total hidden gem. I’ll definitely be back!
