Wow! This place is my new favorite. Full menu served all day. 11-2 Huge green chicken enchiladas- I’ve never had to take home food from an enchilada plate. Super flavorful rice. I don’t always eat all my rice but I will from now on. Great beans. Great service. Food comes out fast.

You will get chips, beans, and salsa before your meal. Green sauce was really good. We ordered breakfast tacos, portion and size wise, they are big tacos. The only thing I would suggest would be hand made tortillas and fresh nopales instead of canned. Other than that everything else was great. We would be back.

This is a fairly new cafe. Very clean and tables are spaced well. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. No adult beverages at all. The menu is TexMex with some of the meals more traditional Mexican. Salsa is just ok nothing over the top about it. I dined from noon to 12 until 12:45 they had only one other table during lunch. So not crowded I say give it a try. I will go back and try a more traditional TexMex meal this time. My Mexican plate was pretty bland not a lot of flavor.

Beware. Went for breakfast tacos today. Menu says they are $2 with two items included. (Cheese $.50 extra.) When I got the bill it turns out the tacos are now $2.50, with an up-charge for meat. So my $2.50 taco with Bacon and cheese is now $4.00. I understand that prices have gone up. The problem is, none of this was disclosed upon ordering, but the worst thing was that when I questioned the bill, there was not even one apology or recognition that I had a right to ask about it. Instead, she got mad at me for “complaining”, telling me no one has ever complained before, which is obviously not true based on prior reviews. I’m all for supporting local businesses, but not when they can’t be transparent about pricing and treat customers with respect.

Two dollar breakfast tacos. I ordered four with only bean and egg ($8 plus tax equals $8.65) and got charged about $11. When I asked the cashier why I was being charged more, she told me that they were homemade tortillas. That makes no sense.

It took 20 minutes after we sat to take our order, and about another 30 to.get the food. There seemed to be only one server who was waiting on tables, bussing, and handling take-out orders.
The food was pretty good. One suggestion I have is when people order sodas, be sure to remind them your sodas are canned. Most people expect sodas with refills, so a “heads-up” would be nice.
The service was so slow, I’m not sure I’ll return.

First time experience, and I would love to go back. I ordered inside for take out, and women at the counter was SO friendly and helpful, picking out a non meat option. I ended up trying the cactus breakfast, which was cactus with eggs and pico mixed in. Their corn tortillas are fantastic, but my favorite was the salsa!!! Yum!! I am looking forward to dining in next time.

Amazing food. They make the salsa fresh just like I like it. My husband enjoyed the chorio megas. I special ordered migas la mexicana, my favorite. This place is locally owned, which I support. It’s easy to access off of hwy 71. Highly recommend.
