We arrived right at 2pm on a Saturday and it got full quickly! They need to open earlier. I added red chili pepper flakes and jalapeños It was crispy, flavorful & delicious.
I picked the Maine Root Root Beer from the fridge. My fave soda brand.
The service was good and you pick where you want to sit.
I absolutely loved the decor & they had outdoor seating but it was misty outside and everything was wet.
It is loud in here because it’s full of happy adults and kids! Don’t expect quiet dining.
When you visit, go to the bathroom and push the button! It’s awesome!
Pizza, I had the supreme, was of fresh ingredients and not on the side of sparingly. Rich, delicious flavors, chewy and saucy on top while slightly crunchy on the crust side. Definitely planning a return trip. For real!
If you’re looking for real pizza, not that conveyor-belt, doughy football pizza from the national chains, Evans Fire Oven Pizza is where you need to be. This spot knows how to do it right—cracker-thin crust with a great undercarriage, especially when ordered well done. Every pizza is made fresh after you order, and the owners take the time to remember you and your go-to order if you’re a regular. They’ll have live music on occasion and check their open hours.
The interior is welcoming, and the people running it make the experience even better. It’s a far cry from the mass-produced pizza you’ll find elsewhere.
On the Dave Portnoy scale, I’d give it a solid 7.8, considering Portnoy rarely hands out an 8 or higher. To put it in perspective, the big chain pizzas typically land in the 4.3 to 4.6 range just above frozen pizza.
Victoria, if you care about quality over quantity, stop settling for that basic conveyor mediocre pizza. Get yourself to Evans Fire Oven Pizza and taste the difference.
Also they had one of my favorite beers, Peroni. The atmosphere, people, service, food all fantastic.
They have music occasionally and home made ice cream to boot. Try it!
