Cannot say enough good things about this gem! The food was outstanding and came out so quick. I LOVED that they offered a salad as a side- such a refreshing change for a diner (especially with breakfast), the balsamic greens were fresh and delicious! Our servers were attentive & personable. We found it to be a quick stop for breakfast on our 8 hour trip from NY to Maine, and we are considering stopping again on the way home to get that amazing bacon hash omelet!

Visited last week. The food and service was good. There was a small mistake with my order that the waitress corrected. However, after starting to eat the rest of my meal, I realized the waitress gave me my sister’s food and her mine. It was easy enough to switch plates but as someone with severe allergies that could have been a very bad experience.

I went here recently on a very difficult day for me, and it was my first time coming here. The staff had no idea but they made me feel like family. They were so funny. On top of that the food was phenomenal. Bacon hash?! Yes!!! 10/10 recommend

Went to Evan’s this morning. Haven’t been to Evan’s in quite awhile. My bad Kelly lol
But I have to say that the food was delicious and service was great.
I had the #4 Ham and eggs.
Was fortunate to be there as 2 war veterans came in to eat.
Definitely be visiting more often.

The service was AMAZING! Very attentive and personable waitstaff. We love coming here on Saturdays with the family. There may be a line occasionally, but it’s because the food is great! Will always come back to this place.

This is the CUTEST little spot situated discretely at the back of a little plaza. I wasn’t totally sure where I was going but I saw good reviews and my daughter was hungry so….we ended up here. I am so glad we did!! The second we walked in we were warmly greeted. There was a maybe 5min wait as they were a bit busy at 11am on a beautiful Saturday morning. Everyone was just so friendly. The food was DELICIOUS with a single pancake being about 12-14in in diameter. Food came out QUICKLY. Best home fries I’ve had in a good while. Perfectly crispy and well seasoned. Bacon cooked to perfection. All for a great price too!! I definitely hope to visit again the next time I’m in the area.

This used to be our go to place for our breakfast date before we got busy with kids. We finally got time to go here on our breakfast date after a long time. I ordered omelet without Tomatoes in it. The server wrote on her note but did not punch it. My omelet was burnt too. I told her I don’t like it because it has tomatoes. She double check if the chef made any errors and found out it was her mistake. She did not offer anything to correct her mistake and said “sorry” and laughed off. She never once came to check on us. But then I opened my omelette and taking out all pieces of tomatoes in it. The other server came to pick up an empty plate of my husband and asked me “are you done poking?” It was indeed offensive and I politely told her no I am still finishing my plate. I had about 50% of my plate still leftover. I absolutely did not like the way I was treated there. She never rectified her mistake by offering us anything that could be in her capacity.
We still tipped her. But due to their awful hospitality and service they lost their customer for good.

I don’t get the hype. It’s generic diner food served in an ugly place with zero atmosphere. Hope you like rubbing elbows with the table next to you because the rom is tiny. There is nothing special on the menu. Stay home and cook breakfast using the cheapest ingredients you can find yourself and you’ll have the same experience.

Evan’s Egg House is hands-down one of the best breakfast spots I’ve been to in a long time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that cozy, hometown diner feel that instantly makes you feel at ease. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do which goes a long way in creating a great experience.

As for the food… wow. The eggs are always cooked to perfection, and the menu has just the right mix of classic breakfast staples and creative options. I highly recommend the signature bacon hash sandwich or the big bills sandwich —they’re both packed with flavor and generously portioned. The coffee’s hot and strong, just like it should be. The creamers perfectly mix into my coffee.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a lazy weekend brunch, Evan’s Egg House delivers. Great food, fair prices, and a local charm that’s hard to beat. Highly recommend!

1st time here at this hidden gem. As soon as we sat down waitress came over with coffee. After we place our order the food was out in less than 5 minutes. It was very tasty and good size portions. Definitely coming back!
