Awesome bar with music almost every night and really liked getting to know Nick (owner/bartender) this week counting tonight, our last night , we spent 4 nights at Evangelo’s on our week long trip – Nick said we were becoming regulars! Al Especially liked going to listen to all the music – Tuesday nights are jam sessions so cool to hear from a variety of musicians

A Santa Fe old bar. The bar serves hard liquor, nothing using a shaker, and a good selection of can or bottle beers. They have a lot of good local bands with great musicians, and you’ll get a lot of great guitar riffs. There is room for dancing or standing around. There are no tables to sit at,but there are chairs at the bar, and along the walls. there is a good mix of the ages and local and tourist in the crowd. Come one and all and have a good time.

Nick is great, just don’t pass him off. This cocktail lounge is now 53 years in operation. Great live music and vibe. Cash bar only. There is an atm downstairs in the pool bar.

Less from impressive. I went down to this bar for what would be my first impression and will never go back. I did not catch her name but. Bartender on the bottom level with burnette hair he so much sassiness. I simply asked for a lime in my drink and she responded with what I can only describe as utter disrespectfulness. She proceeded to kick and my friends out for asking for another drink. I will not be back. I recommend you save your money and time.

Great bar…. If you’re into being roofied. I don’t know what’s going on with the clientele or the staff here…. But roofing your customers is completely unacceptable. Not to much the number of underage kids being served here. This place needs to be shut down. Please find yourself a safer place to have a drink. This establishment is not it. Period.

This was a great experience and we only saw half the bar. The owner Nick was bartending and was a great guy. Great upbeat vibe in a cozy setting. The history behind the bar is a great story as well. The beer selection was great. This is a must stop for anyone in the area. Also being right next to the Lensic you just might find the artist you just saw on stage having an after show beverage.

Santa Fe landmark. Live music most nights. Reasonably priced drinks. Pool downstairs. Nick is taciturn, but welcoming. Don’t order Budweiser.

The lady with all the piercings on the bottom floor is so rude and not patient stopped going because of her bad experience with her but the drinks and the music was amazing , but the lady on the bottom was very rude. Wasn’t a fan

The bouncer with red/orange long hair (James) hits the ladies when he is on a power trip. He is known by many locals to have done this That’s messed up never coming here again and pressing charges date: June 17 2023. Again this bouncer is known by other bars and bouncers from the other local bars to be aggressive and a drunk! huge liability to the business!

This is a historic bar right off the Plaza of downtown Santa Fe. They sometimes have live entertainment and it’s very good. They only take cash and on the weekends if they have a band it’s pretty packed. It’s worth checking out just make sure you take cash
