I went there for dinner. Although we didn’t make a reservation, we were lucky to find a table and didn’t have to wait long. The atmosphere was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. The beer I had there was truly unforgettable.

Two of us for dinner. Pretzel and roesti was ok, sauerkraut was good, spatzle was very good. The Jaeger and mustard schnitzel were fantastic. Had schnitzel in Vienna at three renowned Schnitzel houses a few years ago and this was just as good. For dessert, had apple caramel cake and chocolate pot de crème – apple caramel was our favourite and it was outstanding. Both servers were knowledgeable and efficient . Definitely will return.

The ambiance subtle German and Austrian accents but very modern,
The schnitzel was homemade as well as the rest of the food.
Eva Snitzelhaus was amazing !

I chose to try Eva Schnitzelhaus for brunch with my husband and our daughter after I participated in the 10K Goddess Run yesterday. The food arrived fast, was nice and hot, and tasted great! Our server was very friendly and attentive. I look forward to going back to try dinner service! Thank you for a wonderful post run meal

Loved the feeling inside. Warm and inviting. Sevice was great. Had the eggplant schnitzel and the smoked mackerel app and loved the app. The main was okay, not lots of flavor, great breading and prep but the flavor was lacking. Had the rosti and brussel sprouts as sides which was really good. I would go back as we dined with our son and his partner and they loved the ones they got. Nice dining experience and lovely evening

The food was good, but they did not have authentic German potato salad, sauerkraut or rosti, which we expected, as it is supposed to be a German restaurant. The decor was modern with a few pictures of German landscapes and articles in the restaurant. The restaurant is small and the tables are very close together. Food was pricey but the wine was exorbitant at $17.00 a glass.

Ah Victoria! You have THE best restaurants in BC and Eva is right up there. First time eating here and it did not disappoint! Excellent schnitzel, great service and great value for a star quality meal! Vancouver should take some lessons from you.

Schnitzel and meatballs were pretty good – nothing overly impressive about them though. The schnitzel was plain and quite greasy. Bavarian cream and chocolate desserts were great. To me, their desserts were four stars and foods were three and a half stars. It was a good place to visit, but not sure if this place would be my regular. Also, we were asked to leave after an hour and 15 minutes for the next reservation, which was interesting since we were not walk-in.
