One of the best grill chicken around the area. I was a little unsure of buying for the first time, because I am used to the taste of Newark but I don’t need to go to Ferry Street anymore to get the best flavor. Plus prices are very reasonable for the area you can get a full meal for under $10 which comes with 1/2 of chicken, rice and fries. Can’t beat the flavor nor the price, try it and find out.

I’m pregnant & was craving bbq ribs. They charged me an extra 15$ for delivery (I live 9 minutes away) which was supposed to be 40 minutes to arrive but took exactly 2 hours to arrive. When I opened up my order it was mostly fries. My well done meat was pink & mostly fat. Not to mention cold. And they forgot my bbq sauce. I also called 2 times to confirm my order.

I was yesterday picked up almost 1 hour after I place my Order 2 beef ribs Orders I tell the Owner Mr Anthonio am here to pickup my Orders and he answers was I Only have 2 hands and 1 head can you can wait he tells me , in front the others customers, I think this is very unrespectfull the way he answer I was a customer for around 2 years when he give the Order he tried to apologize with me but I never answer back, i just take my food and walk away and I will never comeback here. I am a business Owner too and I always think we need to have respect for all customers because we can’t forget our business depends 100% on the customers cosume. He can keep his food and I’ll just spend my money in another bbq who will have better customers service.

the Pork Chops, Rice and Black Beans were delicious, however I do have issues with their pricing. Menu $15.00 “whole”, I was charged $18.00 +. Why, you don’t notice written PRICES ARE NOT UP TO DATE. This would be an issue with Weights & Measures. 🙁 ….

Pleasantly surprised with my first time ordering! I had a hard time finding good portuguese food in Bergen County, but I was very satisfied with my order of chicken and ribs combo, small salad and cod fish cakes.
The food was fresh, properly cooked and tasted great condiment and spices wise! It reminds me of restaurants in Portugal, where I never have to ask for salt or any other condiments, as the food is always on point.
I’ll definitely go back and try their fish and seafood dishes next time.
I hope they keep the quality of food and the great preparation of the dishes!

Really don’t understand how there are 5 star reviews on this spot…. Missed opportunity…. Got a combo and was served the driest most questionable ribs I’ve ever had …..the rice was mediocre… the fries were decent but that’s not saying much…. This place needs to upgrade the quality of the food to stay relevant in a spot that has a ton of competition…..

It was our first time ordering for pick up. The food was delicious not overdone, and Tony is awesome. Sometimes the hole in the wall type of restaurants is the best and I would say we order from a lot of Portuguese or barbecue restaurants , I’m from originally from Newark and I know the best And this place is great, will def be back
