This was a cool place to check out. Yes, the shop is tiny so the aisles are made for one person to get through. However, this place is kind of tucked away so it wasn’t busy at all in the afternoon. The outside of the building just says Deli. If you like Polish food, you’ll love it here. I read some people exaggerating about the wait times. It does not take long for them to help you. Like Jewel or Mariano’s, they’re not going to slice your meat in 10 seconds if that’s what you’re hoping for. Btw the staff was nice. I think the Karen’s that complain about them being rude are not very cultured and only know American culture.
I ordered the signature pastrami sandwich for $10.99 and it was a very generous portion size. She put a ton of meat in it. The pastrami wasn’t tough, it was fresh and soft. Honestly, I had Katz’s in NY and this was a really great pastrami sandwich. I also got a large cannoli and meat pierogis. The cannoli was delicious. The pierogis were good but I like to have softer skin. The meat filling was fine but the outside was a bit too tough. I’ve been to a number of Polish restaurants and they usually make the skins very soft to cut. I would rate these pierogis like a 4. Overall, it’s about a 4.5. Prices were very cheap. I got everything for $20. I will definitely return to try more items.

I absolutely love coming here for sandwiches and soups. Everything tastes homemade, and they always have a great variety of soups in the fridge, which makes it easy to grab something to take home for later. The sandwiches are huge, fresh, and incredibly filling. They also have plenty of warm prepared meals and a full deli selection, so it’s a perfect stop when you don’t feel like cooking.
And the paczki… they are sooo good — especially when they’re fresh. Honestly some of the best I’ve had.
If you’re looking for hearty, comforting European food with generous portions and lots of options, this place is a gem. Definitely 5 stars.

Huge, delicious sandwiches! This is my go to lunch spot! I have had the polish delight sandwich and the Sicilian panini and both were really great. And very affordable. Definitely will go back!

Great vibes, even on a very crowded Pączki day. The staff remained patient, kind, and attentive, taking the time to help customers one-on-one despite the rush. There’s an amazing variety of pastries, and the selection of meats, sandwiches, and paninis looks promising. A place that seems to both quality and hospitality.

What an incredible deli. I want everything they make. Deli sandwiches are massive and delicious. Soups are great, bread is homemade. Hot foods look awesome. Very nice people to take care of you. This is a must try and we will definitely be back to try it all.

Bolingbrook’s hidden gem!! Let me start by saying that I LOVE European food!! Growing up in Cicero we were surrounded by great restaurants and bakeries that I really miss. As soon as I opened the door it was like walking into my Grandma’s house…the smell was AMAZING!! So glad I took my friends advice and went to European Deli & Subs Inc! I usually drive to Racine Bakery in Chicago for bacon buns but they have them right here in Bolingbrook!! Everything here is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Great, helpful service. I told them it was my first time and I wanted to look around before ordering anything, they were very nice. I’m so glad I found somewhere local to shop! I highly recommend stopping here!! Great food!!

Place is fire the fresh sandwiches hot and cold are killer! Soup salads and all your typical polish sausages/ hot foods. I had heard of them before but never went. What a mistake $10 for a sandwich that must weigh 3lbs..their tucked behind buona beef in a little strip mall.. big Ole fat sandwich. A little small in the store but well worth it. Massive selection of sweets also.
