This is a charming New York deli meets a specialty food shop. The quality of food is ridiculous! The strive for authenticity sourced items like German krout for Rubens and bagels from ny. They are also amazing when it comes to service. Their food is also a lot cleaner and healthier than more conventional options. You will definitely get what ya pay for here!

Super expensive. Mostly few Russian grocery items. I did find Bende Hungarian sausage, no bacon though. I haven’t tried the sandwiches. Service was okay not much of a personality or kindness, but representing true culture. Probably will not visit this place again.

Finally came here after passing by for years! So mad I haven’t stopped in sooner. Been on a bagel sandwich kick lately and theirs was incredible. Probably the best I’ve had in Richmond. Can’t wait to come back to try their other sandwiches! Also got some pierogis to make at home that were fresh and delish.

In response to your comment — this wasn’t written to “score points.” It was written to share an honest customer experience.
The selection was poor, the prices were significantly higher than comparable stores, and the interaction at the counter was unpleasant. That’s not being an “overgrown child,” that’s giving straightforward feedback about a disappointing visit.
If you’re confident in your business, constructive criticism shouldn’t be an issue. Customers are allowed to share their experiences — good or bad.

A great small business for the area with unique items. Great for hard to find groceries or gifts for someone that appreciates European items. The food is well made and the bagels are really that good. Take some frozen ones home and enjoy them whenever you want! The prices can be high for many of the grocery items, but they’re so unique (and usually high quality) that you’ll not regret buying them.

Best coffee I’ve ever tasted. The guy who runs the place is very friendly and knowledgeable. Great place. I rate this very highly and will be going back to get more sausages and fun chocolates , etc…

Great sandwiches and nice selection of imported foods. I had an bagel, egg, and cheese. My husband had the Italian Stallion. Both were very good. The bread is excellent. I’m looking forward to going back and getting some of the deli meats. We also got a loaf of bread to have with dinner tonight. Can’t wait to toast it up.

Update: We went back and hit the Holy Bologna sandwich and some bagels to take home. So good.

So far I have only gone in here to grocery shop. I have yet to try any of their sandwiches or bagels, but I bought perogies, Polish salad, and a brand of smoked kielbasa called grill sausage that is made in Chicago. The pierogies are excellent and the sausage was some of the best smoked sausage I have ever had.

If you’re looking for authentic Kielbasa, this is the place to go. Our family used to order from a specific butcher shop in Delaware because of how authentic their Kielbasa was. My family swore by it. After some time, we had to stop ordering there and because of that, I hadn’t had authentic Polish Kielbasa in close to 10 years. That is until I came here. Their fresh Kielbasa is identical to what I grew up eating. I never thought I would be able to find that same type of Kielbasa around here. I will now be a customer for life. + they have amazing breakfast sandwiches. 10/10 experience

First time visitor this morning. Very welcoming atmosphere. Even though it was technically “breakfast time” I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich. As a nice Jewish boy, I feel like I have some authority on good deli sandwiches and this one was outstanding. Will definitely be back.
