A family member recommended this place to us and we just had to try it but with our busy schedule we had to get it ordered for take-out. We didn’t realize that they came in orders of 8 or so and so we had asked for 3 kraut and mushroom, 3 blueberry, 3 kraut and bacon and 2 cheese and potato pierogis. We also ordered a cabbage roll and spaghetti. My dad thought it odd when they asked him if he was having a party and he wanted to come pick it up later and that’s when he realized after he paid that they were orders of 8 or so pierogis! Whoops!!! So yes, we are the crazy people who ordered way too many pierogis that day! But it was totally worth it! They are all freshly made and the staff were so nice and accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing and we can’t wait until we can make it in person to try what else is on the menu! P.S. don’t worry we didn’t eat it all at once! We had leftovers for the next day or so and had to put some in the freezer! They still heated up great afterwards! Highly recommend!!

Unbelievable Upscale Brick Oven Pizza made by hand with crust that will make you forsake all other pizza joints. Being a truck driver has its perks! Nothing like finding a gem like this in small town Nebraska.

Gotta say I absolutely loved everything about this place! The whole experience was great, the food, staff, atmosphere, cleanliness the list goes on! It might be a bit of a drive but well worth it and why not stop by two rivers park on the way back if you’re from Omaha. Back to the good stuff, real wood fired pizza a great variety of everything homemade great balance of flavors. Homemade pierogies, desserts and specials. We had meat pierogies and the coma Pizza. Everything was great as well as the service just a great energy and little town with BIG flavor!

Great pizza and great people! This family owned and operated is passionate about providing great food and experiences to the people who come in. Their welcoming and wholesome personality are matched by the quality and flavor of their pizzas! I tried their Margarita pizza and Meat Lovers pizza. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors amazing! The quality of the crust cooked inside the break oven was really well done! I look forward to coming back, again!

The food was amazing. Brick oven in the open. The pizza crust was soft to the touch and crispy. The flavor was slightly smokey and not overpowered. Atmosphere was inviting and friendly. Mead is a good town with good people. I will definitely be going back

Had a chance to stop today and try their pizza. Absolutely amazing, I’m not one who enjoys pizza as I’ve eaten all the craptastic pizza around omaha. This is worth the drive! Staff is amazingly friendly, the atmosphere is laid back and comfortable and the pizza is something you’d expect from Italy itself. The pizza oven is front and center in the restaurant you you know you’re getting true wood fired brick oven pizza. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I really hope they expand closer to Omaha I believe they’d really succeed in a town of marginal pizza serving they’re scratch made deliciousness.
