Stopped by Eugene’s Sausage & Fries and it did not disappoint. The German Dog paired perfectly with truffle fries and an Eavesdrop Brewing Company Kölsch. Customer service was fast and friendly, and the food came out in under 15 minutes. The presentation looked like something straight out of a food magazine—absolutely scrumptious and highly recommend!

This place was an absolute blast! The food was excellent, and the environment was welcoming. While I only tried 2 things on the menu, everything offered looked delicious! I fully intend to go back and try more.

The bratwurst was cooked perfectly and had more than enough toppings, the loaded fries were to die for, and they had a good selection of beverages to choose from. Plus, if you wanted anything else, the brewery next door provided further options.

All in all, it’s an excellent place to go for good food, a relaxing atmosphere, and some truly amazing events.

Really enjoyed this place. Nice atmosphere. Great beer menu. Hot dogs, sausages, and fries were really good. Got the El Diablo, half smoked southerner, danger dog, pastrami fries, and chili cheese fries. I’d recommend all of them, except however, personal preference, the bacon jam was too sweat, so I’d probably not get the danger dog again.

Also, not sure if the dogs/sausages always get served on a pretzel roll or if they just ran out of the regular rolls but the pretzel rolls were perfect and delicious.

This place was great.

Went to place on our way back from a hike at old rag. Didn’t expect a nice outdoor brewery area with games and great food. Went for just Eugene’s Sausages. We got three of the menu dogs. All three were great. Southern hospitality was one of them. We also got chili fries and the elote fries. Both of these were also amazing and the sauces they had were great. The spicy thousand island and cilantro garlic aioli. Would definitely return if in the area. Only complaint was the side was same price as hot dog. I figured fries would be a little cheaper for the size.

I placed a pickup order via DoorDash for which was confirmed. When I arrived, the staff told me they don’t accept DoorDash pickup orders. The item I ordered wasn’t even on the menu anymore. An employee mentioned the owner has known about this issue for quite some time but never fixed it. To make matters worse, they had no way to refund me—I had to sort that out myself. If the owner is aware, this really needs to be addressed. Overall, a frustrating experience.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat. It was very good. I understand they make their own sausage. Fries were good too.

Staff wasn’t as friendly as I would have expected for a small, local place to eat.

Outdoor seating is shared with other businesses on site.

This is a great place to come and meet friends and family, hang out and have a good time.

The beers are tasty, had a couple sours and an oatmeal stout. They are right next door to Eugene’s and the dogs are phenomenal! Had the reuben and the germane or something like that. The bun is crisp and goes so well with the spicy Italian dog. Got the elote fries and . Awesome experience! Only gave four stars for atmosphere because I am an old curmudgen and there were a lot of little types running around.

The food here is incredibly delicious! I’ve had the Veggie Sando, their regular seasoned fries and their giant pretzel.
-The Veggie Sando is a vegetarian “sausage” on a hotdog bun with ketchup, mustard, onions and peppers. I’m not always in the mood for onions so sometimes I get it without the onions, however be aware that if you get it without onions they also leave off the peppers. Apparently they store the onions and peppers mixed together so you can either get both or neither. The vegan sausage is incredibly delicious and doesn’t taste too close to actual meat. If you are a vegetarian like myself who doesn’t like how meat tastes, you will probably find this “sausage” different enough from a real sausage to find enjoyable.
-The regular French fries come seasoned. They are delicious. Very flavorful. Among the best fries I’ve had (and I’m somewhat of a fry connoisseur). Contrary to what their website says you can only get the fries in one size. It is a large size and good for sharing.
-Their big soft pretzel is by far the best soft pretzel I’ve ever eaten. The bread is so fluffy and there is just the right amount of salt. The pretzel comes with a couple containers of things to dip the pretzel in. One is a delicious cheese sauce. I also enjoy dipping my fries in this sauce. And I didn’t try the second sauce, but probably will on a future visit.

The service is very good. The staff is very friendly and eager to answer questions and be of help. In my experience the food is usually prepared and ready in 5 to 10 minutes.

Eugene’s adjacent to Eavesdrop Brewery. So you get your food and then take it to the brewery to eat (or use the vast outdoor seating areas around the brewery). Eugene’s itself does not have its own eating area. There is plenty of parking. There are a number of businesses that share a sizable parking lot.

Must order in person. They have Door Dash but was down without any notification. The staff was friendly and accommodating but not a good option when Eavesdrop is busy. After an hour when we got our food it was very good. Get all the sauces . As far as the atmosphere they capitalize on Eavesdrop’s beer garden, but in late October there were yellow jackets EVERYWHERE.

(Sorry for the terrible pictures of the food- we were sitting under a red umbrella which ruined my pictures but oh well).
First off, for some reason I thought this place had indoor seating but it does not- outdoor only. So be sure to come on a day when it isn’t dreadfully hot like we did.
First impressions were ehh.. We came right at opening and it appeared that we were the first order or maybe second for the day. We waited 30 minutes for our food. For a nicer dine-in restaurant I think that 30 minutes is fine, but as a self-described “fast-casual” joint that is unacceptable. It was 12pm on a Thursday so I can’t imagine how long it would take when they’re actually busy.
I ordered the El Diablo because it was one of the few options that wasn’t doused in cheese and was listed as spicy with several exclamation points!! This was not spicy at all to my Jamaican taste buds. The sausage was good and flavorful, but definitely not spicy. The toppings were too sweet for me, and I had to scrape off most of it. The amount of toppings was just too much too- about twice the volume of the sausage itself. The pretzel bun was good, but the bread to meat ratio was a little off for me. I only needed half of the bun.
My sister got the Vegetable Sando, which she liked minus the awkward jalapeno that still had it’s stem on top of her sandwich.
We also got the house fries and cheese fries. The portions are absolutely gigantic. The house fries were good, but I did not try the cheese fries.
Overall, cool spot and atmosphere but know that it is outdoor only. Food is tasty, but the portions are way too large. They need to be about 1/3 of the size they currently serve. Service also needs to be a little faster if this is to be fast-casual. I don’t think I will be coming back here even though it was an overall good experience.
