So so so so so happy to have this place in the neighborhood!!! We’ve had it twice now and have tried very different things both times and everything is absolutely out of this world.
Square Sicilian: absolute pan pizza perfection. Fluffy dough with perfect caramelization on the bottom. Delicious sauce. Amazing local (Frankie’s) sausage
Italian “Sub”: that’s in quotations because this thing is an absolute behemoth and is served between two giant squares of their homemade pan pizza dough. Delicious meats and toppings
Stuffed Pepper Circle Pie: great dough, thinner and chewier than the square. Delicious sauce, sausage, and ricotta.
Amazing food made by really great people who truly seem to have a passion for what they’re doing. Can’t wait to go back and try the meatballs next! Welcome to Etna, please stay forever!

A hidden gem just past Lawrenceville! WOW is their pizza good! Excellent dough, incredible sauce, and cheese! A little flop, but it still gives a crispy finish. We have tried A TON of pizza in or around the city and this is easily in my top 5! We did the stuffed pepper pizza and a slice of burrata while we waited, both were delicious! They do have about 4-5 different slice options or you can order an entire pie! Oh and the ranch is killer (this is HUGE for us)! Owner and team were friendly. Clean establishment. Limited seating inside (owner said by March they are looking to add more). We will most certainly be back!

So I’m from Pittsburgh. Born & raised Black & Gold! I know pizza !! I’ve eaten pizza in just about every single state from here to California! Pittsburgh definitely has some of the best pizza rivalry to NY! This place looked promising but unfortunately did not deliver on taste or expectations also (they actually don’t deliver ) I decided to grab two pies. Their menu is rather small & they don’t have any of the well-known & liked toppings such as other competitors like pineapple or even a supreme option? The place looked well-kept & clean which brought my attention to their establishment in the first place. So we ordered one small “white pizza” & one small “regular pizza with pepperoni & ham.” Neither of these options were enjoyed or liked by any of the 8+ people who tried them. The white pizza tasted like they threw an entire bottle of oregano & basil ontop of it… !! I’ve honestly never had a white pizza with such an overwhelming taste of basil & oregano. Btw I love white pizza! I’ve eaten thousands of variant “white pizzas” & this place just DOES NOT know how to make a good white pizza. The first rule of pizza is keep it SIMPLE! Simple is better! Here’s a great white pizza recipe….Combine Garlic+Butter+LIGHT Parsley+LIGHT Oregano+Mozzarella & a few dollops of Ricotta & bake! If they follow that EXACT recipe they’re going to thank me later for sure. If they continue to serve that atrocious white pizza variety that they’re currently serving, nobody is ever going to return to buy that white pizza again. It was seriously awful. Like inedible. Still hungry, I tried a piece of the “regular pizza” with red sauce topped with cupping pepperoni (smaller pepperoni) & ham (very salty)…The pizza sauce was EXTREMELY zesty! It had an overwhelming amount of zest & spices in it that were NOT to any of our liking. We all enjoy sweeter sauce in our family. This is DEFINITELY not a sweeter pizza sauce. Now IF you’re into zesty, spicy, robust pizza sauce then this pizza place might be for you! The actual dough wasn’t all that bad. I’ve had better. I’ve had worse. If they could figure out that pizza sauce & STOP making it so damn zesty! They might end up with something that I may want to return to try again in the near future. However As-Is I’m giving this place a 2-star. They need to work on their ingredients & deliver a much better Pittsburgh pizza option or else they’re going to end up “CLOSED” for good in the next 1-2yrs.

Truly an amazing spot! A must check out- Etna Slice House, located in Etna on Butler Street. They offer round and square pizza pies as well as single slices. The round pizzas are a New York round, 16 inches, 8 slice pies and the square pizzas are a Sicilian, thick crust, 12” x 12”, 9 slice pie. These are the only two sizes available, but leftovers are never a bad thing! It is owned and operated by a passionate, local guy who makes really, good pizzas. The shop has some seating but not a ton, mostly a takeout place, but worth the stop. Tried the Burrata Pizza which is tomato sauce, oregano, mozzarella/provolone cheese blend, burrata, black pepper, basil and extra virgin olive oil. It is incredible. Burrata on pizza, is genius. The other one I tried was the Fungi pizza which has extra virgin olive oil, oregano, sliced garlic, mozzarella/provolone cheese blend, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, fresh grated parmesan and basil. This was unreal, the mushroom and dried tomato combo was out of this world. I love that you can get just a slice rather than a whole pie too, you are able to try different things or if you go with others, you can each get what you want! They have a few sandwiches and sides as well as pizza. They are open Tuesday through Saturday. Highly recommend stopping in Etna to try a slice from Etna Slice House.

My family & I tried Etna Slice House tonight for the first time and we will DEFINITELY be back! This is now our go to pizza place and the Sicilian is easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The crust has the perfect crunch and flavor to it, and the sauce is delicious. We can’t wait to get it again! (half pepperoni & onion, half cheese pictured)

Highly recommend checking out this new spot! We went and ordered 1 Sicilian and 1 round. The Sicilian stuffed pepper was amazing. You can really tell that quality dough was used because the edges were crusty and crunchy while still being fluffy. We also got a round white and added mushrooms. The white pizza being made with burrata is an absolute game changer. It really took the pizza to the next level. I also really appreciate the mushrooms on the pizza were cooked prior to being out on the pizza. It added a nice depth of flavor that other pizza joints lack.. While we did order whole pizzas, the shop does also offer slices which looked amazing. The owner is incredibly welcoming and passionate about his business. I highly recommend visiting this new business. Can’t wait to see them grow!

I need more people to go to Etna Slice House. I want to scream from the rooftop about this place. They do pizza well!! We did a create your own round pie with pepperoni, sausage, and onion. Perfectly thin crispy crust like it was made in heaven. The right amount of cheese and sauce. The pepperoni cupped to hold that pizza gravy. They also have Sicilian that I will try on my next visit. They have limited seating but don’t let that deter you. Do yourself a favor and grab a slice (or a whole pie) at Etna Slice House. 100/10 would recommend.

Their spicy calabrese circle was delicious! We also tried the Sicilian with half fungi and half stuffed pepper. Chef made it happen and it was a meal in each square. So good! We’ll definitely be back for the meatball hoagies on their house-made bread. Quality is top notch.
