TIL that this restaurant is about to pass to the fourth generation of ownership. The inside is much cleaner and more welcoming and then what the exterior appearance of the restaurant is. The food was fantastic. Fair prices. Plenty of locals. If you’re new it may appear that you’re getting the stink eye when you walk in. But just say something about basketball and you should be golden in terms of conversation

I really enjoyed this little diner. I had the chicken fried steak and it was very crispy. I have heard from others that sometimes it is inedible but for me it was just right. Overall a good decent place to have a lunch if you happen to be in the area.
