This is a specialty bakery. It does have fresh reasonably priced sourdough bread that you can buy by the loaf. It has lots of delicious looking treats that I did not try. Nothing said gluten-free or vegan. The tea selection was vast and the tart cherry with fig was delicious. We ordered an Italian soda but they didn’t have any soda and it was fairly early in the day, 1200pm.

I picked up a variety of baked goods for a breakfast at home.
The croissants are REALLY good and even better than many I ate in France.
They have a wide variety of baked goods and breads and all we tried were very tasty.
I love that they have patio and inside is nice as well.
A high quality bakery!

It’s a 4. The bakery items range from good to very good. Savory items are generally good, but simple, no frills. I love the raspberry mocha (hot or cold). Staff can be a mix of friendly to kind of cold.

For the Keene location: Please get some acoustic tiles put up. This place is so noisy with just 14 people. Yes I counted. It’s like this in the morning, afternoon, whenever I’m there. The staff had to yell across the plexiglass barrier to tell me they don’t have the oatmeal (even though it’s on the menu and it was way before 2 pm)
Not the cozy cafe where you would sit with a latte and a laptop to chill. It honestly sounded like a school cafeteria. It made it hard to have a conversation with my partner.
Pasty options were limited. I was hoping for some savory baked goods but the selection was disappointing.

Good pastries but staff behind the counter are incredibly sloppy. You order a vanilla latte, they will give you a latte. You ask for pastries warmed up, they will forget to take it out of the oven. You ask for a house mug, they will give you a paper cup. There is always something. You have to be top of every step to get your order correctly, which defeats the purpose of going to a coffee shop to enjoy a stress-free moment. Does not matter if you tip or not. They will find a way to mess it up somehow. I guess this is why they have minimum wage in this country.

The coffee is great! Been looking for a place that has modern vibes, good espresso (with alternative milk options), great pastries and unique sandwiches. Much like my Seattle haunts. Sandwich in picture is their bread, turkey, Brie, apple, chutney and pesto. There are cake pops for the kids, cookies, croissants and more.

I’ve been going to Ethos since they first opened in 2011 and every time I go, I always like what I get. This time, I got a scone and tea. The tea was a little watery and not very strong but the scone was great! Lots of other good menu options too. I always look forward to when I come here and it’s also a good place to go with your family; there’s something for everyone.

First and last time coming to this spot. Food and drinks were okay but service was terrible. Employee acted annoyed when I asked questions about the food, and then when I asked them to warm up a pastry after she handed it to us. I asked for our food and drinks “for here” she mumbled they are out of plates, and we received everything in to-go packaging. They gave me the wrong sized drink, but I did not even bother to ask for the correct/larger size. I did not want to deal with more attitude. Was not busy and they had plenty of staff, so really did not understand the issue.

I’ve been going to ethos since 2019 and used to really love their coffee. Dont get me wrong, their pastries and food options are amazing but in the last few months especially at the Keene location the quality of coffee blows. Not to mention the staff could care less about their customer service. I also watched one of the girls eating a snack over the food counter while making someone’s order. Which in my opinion is just not clean.
