I come here everytime with my husband and friends anytime we are in Oroville. The wait time for food could be quick or could take up to 40 minutes. And guess what? Its worth it. I thought I knew yummy French fries until I tried them here. WOW! CANT BE BEAT! Plus the food is always phenomenal. If you want food within 5 minutes just go through a drive thru…bye. This local restaurant is the best of the best. If you want GOOD food youll have to wait and itll be worth it. If you read any negative reviews or anything lower than 5 stars, thats coming from a person who’s in a rush and looking for a problem. This is the best spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch.

I had a business lunch at Ethan’s Eatery in Oroville last Thursday. By 11:30 AM the place was already bustling, which is always a good sign. Our group of six was greeted by friendly staff and seated quickly. Drink orders were taken right away, followed shortly by our meal orders. The waitress stayed attentive throughout, checking in without being overbearing.
I ordered the Classic Pastrami sandwich on toasted rye with thousand island and swiss, served with fries and an iced tea. As shown in the photo, the sandwich came out hot with a generous portion of fries. The only drawback was that our meals arrived at different times, and mine happened to come last. That said, the food was worth the wait—the pastrami sandwich was flavorful, the bread nicely toasted, and the fries cooked just right.
Overall, Ethan’s Eatery made a good impression with its lively atmosphere, attentive service, and quality food. Despite the staggered timing on meal delivery, I’d definitely return for another lunch here. It’s a solid spot in Oroville for a casual business lunch or just a hearty meal.

1st time having breakfast here yesterday and had to come back today because it was amazing! Portions are huge!
Saturday breakfast consisted of Huevos Rancheros with carnitas, fruit instead of potatoes, loaded Bloody Mary (a meal in itself), Breakfast Burrito (massive) with carnitas & house potatoes and today Traditional Avocado Toast with fruit, glass of champagne, regular breakfast of 2 pancakes (OMG ), bacon and perfect poached eggs. Coffee is bold and delicious too.
Staff was on point and service is fabulous! It’s going to be our go too from now on. Food prices are within budget for the amount they serve you.
btw, we are still eating yesterday’s burrito!

THIS is the place! Ethan’s is clean, with a cozy environment but has a porch if you like. The service was fantastic, very attentive and prompt. My family ordered 3 meals, that didn’t take long to cook at all considering the place was a little over half full including the patio.
Hubby got the chicken fried steak, the portions overflowing. His food was hot seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I got the Sampler platter with blueberry pancakes. Bacon was crispy and the scrambled eggs that came with it were the BEST scrambled eggs I’ve ever had in my life! (I would love to learn their secret!)
My daughter got the carmel banana waffles, what a decadent treat!
Overall, presentation was lovely, atmosphere was great and their food tastes like it’s been make with a whole lot of love. It’s my new favorite spot for breakfast on town. Bravo Ethan’s!!!

I went in on an afternoon to have lunch with my wife. We had placed our order and somehow it was lost or was not sent in. They didn’t come over to our table to explain this or apologize. After waiting 36 minutes, it took for me to walk up to the counter and to ask where our food was. Due to time constraint, my wife had to get back to her job. We didn’t have time to eat and had to have the food placed in containers to go. Finally, 43 minutes later the food was brought out to us. How does that happen? Would have been nice for an apology or a discount on our meal. THAT WAS VERY RUDE!! The waitress must have felt embarrassed and didn’t know how to apologize. Shame on you, Ethan’s Eatery. I will not be back and I hope people will read this and think twice about eating somewhere else!

Food was tasty and I feel as though you get your money’s worth, too. They have a nice little patio for those that want some fresh air, and they have inside dining as well. While I didn’t try their mimosas, they looked very intriguing and almost sold themselves. Staff was very courteous and attentive through out our dinning. Great little place for brunch.

Service sucks.. we waited 20 minutes just to have a group of people go ahead of us cause we were not offered the out side patio. Then we spoke back to the lady at the desk for her to roll her eyes to tell us she sorry like she didn’t care .. that’s horrible business then still told us to wait some more to clear out the table. At approximately 1150-1220. Will not suggest this place.
