Eternal Sunshine Café is a fun and eclectic spot for brunch lovers looking for something a little different. The atmosphere is bright, colorful, and quirky—just like the menu. It’s the kind of place that immediately puts you in a good mood.
We tried three dishes: The Spice Is Right, Southern State of Mind, and The Golden Skillet. All were delicious and clearly made with fresh ingredients and creative flair.
The Spice Is Right had just the right amount of heat and bold flavor, perfect for someone looking for a savory dish with a little kick. Southern State of Mind leaned into comforting, hearty Southern flavors—think biscuits, sausage, and rich gravy—all well-executed and satisfying. The Golden Skillet was another hit, with a great combination of textures and flavors that made it feel both indulgent and balanced.
The menu is impressively eclectic, offering everything from Southern comfort to spicy Tex-Mex-style breakfasts and lighter, veggie-forward options. The variety makes it easy to find something you’ll love, no matter your mood or dietary preference.
Overall, Eternal Sunshine Café delivered on flavor, fun, and creativity. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back to explore more of the menu.

Met friends for brunch. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, 2 pancakes with cranberry and orange maple syrup. I enjoyed it. The other Ladies also enjoyed their meal also. They each had an Eggs Benedict meal.

What an experience!! We recommend trusting the chef signatures. Our waiter told us this and it exceeded our expectations. I got the Caribbean illusion and my partner got the Spiral down, boaring out. They were amazing. The spiral dish is hands down the best pancakes we have ever had. They look like cinnamon rolls but taste like heaven. Crispy on the edges and just the right amount of sweet. They come with pork belly that was yummy too. We got a mimosa flight. They were a little strong but delicious all the same. We shared a flight and it was more than enough for the 2 of us. The Caribbean illusion was so fire the presentation is unique and food itself delicious. I got the bacon with it. Every item was uniquely amazing. Would recommend and return.

Eternally delicious!! The food was absolutely amazing. A very creative take on the typical brunch menu. The Caribbean illusion was amazing, I wish I could have the coconut pudding with mango on EVERYTHING. Definitely worth a visit for anything on the menu. The staff was also exceptional, Katie was so nice!

This cafe may appear ordinary, but we were pleasantly surprised. The service was efficient; the small space made it easy to get an attendant’s attention. We ordered the Bourbon Myths & Berry Tales and the Driving Me Bananas. The dishes were not only beautifully presented but also exceptionally delicious—truly elevated. We left not just with full stomachs, but with a memorable experience.
9 months later came her for another wonderful breakfast while a winter storm Fern was heading our way. Only 4 tables occupied, so no wait. Ended up with a flight of Mimosas and a couple of Benedict plates. As always, flavorful and filling. I guess this place is our go-to for breakfast.

I’ve been coming here with one of my best friends since 2024. Best brunch breakfast spots in Wilmington. I travel all the way to Jacksonville for this type of good food.
Their Eternal Benedict is amazing ! Their mimosas are Great as well. I love their Pokémon card theme menu.
The only down side is there are some ingredients in certain meals that can’t be removed.
Otherwise it’s a great breakfast place! Come in for a good time and great meal!

I wondered how a tiny cafe hidden away in among other store fronts made it, but once I checked it out I realized why.
Mind you it was a quiet Saturday at 8 AM. Iwas greeted at the front door and asked for seating preference. I had a great server and good food. Details were paid attention and the staff reflected a sunny attitude in their smiles and attitudes.
I ordered ala carte scrambled eggs and a biscuit. The eggs were perfect and topped with beautiful microgreens!
The biscuit should be called the Butter Biscuit since it is heavenly maiden, but in a good way. Baked to a golden perfection.
I will be back! I left with such a good vibe.

We have recently visited after moving away from Wilmington and we’re excited to go back to one of our fav brunch spots. We were extremely disappointed to find that the menu had changed and pricing was outrageous for the food we received. There was only two servings of hollandaise left, so members of our group couldn’t order what they wanted. There were also NO substitutions (literally asking for plain versus chipotle hollandaise) . I was offered to hold the chipotle hollandaise and put plain on the side for an extra charge. Geez! My side of fruit salad was 6 bite-size pieces of fruit and the “croissants” were smaller than an English Muffin. Bacon was limp, greasy and only crispy around the edges. The food had good flavor and the staff were very nice, but definitely will not return for the $19-$29 tasting portion of eggs Benedict, but at least they could cook an egg correctly. Just sad that a delicious Wilmington spot has fallen flat.

Such an incredible atmosphere and the food was delicious. My friends and I all got different dishes and not a single plate had anything left on it. Definitely a place to go back to!
