The Valentine’s Day pre-fix menu was a bit limited in its options, so there were two courses that I didn’t really enjoy, but the main dishes (veal and beef) as well as the desserts were good. They also had some really nice cocktail options. I got something with mint and pistachio that was really good.

I love this place! Every time I come here, I have an unforgettable experience with the food, service, and atmosphere. They have a fantastic happy hour, and on Valentine’s Day, they offer a special menu. This place is simply amazing! I highly recommend it!

had a reservation for a party of 12 and we’re grateful that they could accommodate us. street parking is a little tough but good area with plenty to do. restaurant was cool and had nice ambiance. our reservation was @ 8:30 and our table arrangement was long table, around 6 people on each side. the night started off well as we ordered cocktails and several apps across the table. our server, salim was friendly and attentive but it really started to dwindle as the night progressed.

to sum things up:
– we all arrived, we ordered apps first and then entrees. got our apps & complimentary bread around 9:15
– my side of the table was asked ahead of time if we wanted souffle due to last call being at 9:30 and the long prep time. he also offered to bring us the dessert menu
– throughout the night, our server would disappear for 10-20 mins at a time before showing up again
– awhile after we got our apps, he came back and asked if we wanted more drinks, repeated the dessert thing, but never brought the dessert menu or my second drink (not a big deal tbh)
– at this point, we’re basically the only people in the restaurant besides the staff and i felt like we’ve been waiting around for a bit. i’m sure they wanted to get all our food out at once so i didn’t make a fuss, but they didn’t really check in with us that often during that time.
– entrees arrive around 9:53. the food was good and tasty, the portions were also good. (iirc only one person in my party wasn’t satisfied with his food but offered constructive criticism)
– finished our dinner around 10:15 and the server proceeds to bring the dessert menu to only my side of the table, to which we decline due to the time. (we also didn’t want to hold them up, since they said it was last call like 30 mins prior)
– we promptly pay and say our thanks, start heading out

on our way out, we hear our server talking about our table and how “we didn’t even order dessert.” i want to preface that i understand dealing with a large group can be sometimes be frustrating and it’s normal to complain here and there, but at least have the decency to wait until we’re all gone before you start talking about us.

plus i feel like it’s unfair that he had mentioned bringing the dessert menu multiple times only for him to bring it out at the very end. he also only asked about dessert to my side of the table and not the other half of the table, but then proceeded to complain about us not getting any??? a lot of us would have happily ordered dessert otherwise.

our bill was nearly $1k with appetizers, cocktails, entrees and a 20% gratuity, so it felt like what we paid for didn’t really match the service. i would like to think that we were overall pretty chill and patient, so it kinda sucks to end the night like that. the food and atmosphere was great otherwise.

From a European stand point, I highly recommend this place for its food! Great presentation, the right amount of food, the steak was perfectly cooked as we requested and beautifully sliced! The charcuterie board was a great addition to share to start the festivities and we got coq au vin and scallops, everything subtly served and presented. The only thing I was not a big fan of was the dark walls and the lighting but that’s minor, we had a great time!

I was pretty excited to dine here, considering the reviews. So much so, I booked it for our anniversary dinner. Honestly, nothing stood out to me. Everything (vegetables, protein, etc.) was cooked and prepared beautifully, but it was all lacking in flavor. The one thing we truly enjoyed was the complimentary bread and butter. With much disappointment, we didn’t bother with dessert. I will say our waitresses and waiters were amazing and absolutely attentive. As for the atmosphere, the lighting was a little too dim where we were seated and could use more localized light.

Et Voila is a fabulous dining experience! The food is outstanding, with a nicely varied menu. While the tables are mostly situated close together, it is easy to converse at your own table. The service can’t be beat — they are there when you need them and leave you alone while your table is quietly conversing. It’s a go-to restaurant for special occasions or a lovely night out.

We dined on 2/15 and were surprised by the level of service given the restaurant’s reputation and price point. Before we were fully seated, we were immediately asked for drink orders without introduction or orientation to the menu. They are pushy and want your drink order before you’ve even looked at a menu.
When we sat down I was shocked and disgusted by the heavy smell of old overused frying oil emanating all the way to the dining room. That should have been the red flag we listened to and left then and there.
When our cheese board arrived, it was dropped down abruptly, causing it to bounce on the table. No explanation of the cheeses was provided. When we later asked about one of the selections, only that single cheese was described rather than the full board being presented. I’ll describe the rest of the meal in detail but I need to point out that the best items of the night were the cheeses, and (not made in house) the best thing this restaurant plated came off the truck of their supplier.
Truck to table. I could have gone to ALDI for comparable cheeses for a fraction of the price and they wouldn’t have treated us like afterthought-guests.
The Croustillant chaud de reblochon was dry and unfortunately a bone was still in the duck meat. It cut the roof of my mouth. After the way they’d been treating us I doubted their ability/ desire to make things right. The server must not have noticed that we hardly touched it because he said nothing. Out of everything we ordered, we finished nothing.
The beuf bourguignon was as disappointing as the service. We stopped there. We cut our losses and decided it wasn’t worth being disappointed by their dessert menu.
We tipped 18% on a $100+ bill.
Hundreds of restaurants in town don’t go where the service treats you like an inconvenience.

I’m not sure how I even stumbled on this place but I’m so glad I did! I love French food and this is a great place for French food lovers to try!
My fiance and I were celebrating a number of things in our life so we did not hold back on ordering everything! We ordered the duck pattete, escargot, cavier and ravioli to start. The ravioli was my favorite with unique flavors I’ve yet to try. Overall all our appetizers were 11 out of 10! I ordered the chicken and my fiance the steak fries, honestly both were okay, I’d say 8 out of 10; still good but nothing to write about…
I ordered the tequila mockingbird but with Mexcal and it was so well balanced!
The ambience is classy and dark.
Our service, Kari, was amazing, kind, and very tenitive.
Overall I had such a great experience and will be dreaming about all the yummy appetizers.
