There is both indoor and outdoor seating, it is far enough away from busy street that the street noise is minimal. The drinks are good, didn’t get refills on lemonade but the margaritas were a hit. The chicken enchiladas and carne asada were great as was the fried ice cream.

There are so many reasons Estrellita has been in business since 1958. As long term residence of the area, we are very familiar with the varieties and quality of Mexican restaurants. most of them seem to just phone it in, but not Estrellita. We have not been to this restaurant for three years (Covid) and feared for the worst when we returned. we need not have worried for the place is as fresh and bright and the food is as unique and as high-quality as ever.

Definition of a 4-star spot – not going to blow your socks off but reliable for a tasty meal. The enchiladas hit the spot, and La Gringa is great too. Don’t sleep in the beans either. The rice is meh but it’s ok for one piece of the meal to be a safe spot to return to between more flavorful bites. The delivery was packaged very well.

Very nice cozy decor inside the restaurant. Very colorful. Service was really good. We ordered mango guac, veggie quesadilla and stuffed chilli. All the food were simple and tasty. Will visit again!

Surprisingly good food!! I came here because viva del sol is closed for lunches during the weekdays. The chips and salsa were a bit boring but the entrees were delicious and huge. I got a guava margarita that was also really well balanced. The place was really dead on a Thursday for lunch but I hope that they get more customers in for dinner! The outside sitting was nice for a warm summer day.
