The Food:
If you prefer lighter, simple flavors, you will enjoy it here. However, if you are looking for a “wow” factor or unique culinary adventure, this might not be the place.
* Seafood is the specialty: Stick to the fish.
* The Lamb Chops: While delicious, the flavor was very common and something you could find at many other restaurants.
Advice for the Restaurant / Owners:
* Mosquito Control: The patio had a significant mosquito problem. I suggest using candles or repellent devices. Additionally, the host should ask guests if they prefer indoor or outdoor seating; we were seated outside without being asked and would have preferred staying inside.
* Wait Times: Our reservation was at 5:00 PM. We arrived 5 minutes early to a completely empty restaurant, yet we were told to wait for our table to be “ready.” This was confusing and unnecessary.
* Service/Water: We requested regular water, but our waiter brought a $9 bottle instead. I noticed this happening at other tables as well, which felt like an intentional up-sell rather than a mistake.
Tips for Future Guests:
* Parking: Use the parking garage nearby. Street parking has a 2-hour limit, and dinner here will take at least 2 hours.
* Seating: Be very clear if you want to sit indoors to avoid mosquito bites.
* Reservations: The restaurant is large but gets very busy, so book in advance.
Final Verdict:
It is a good restaurant, but it doesn’t make my “Top List” of fine dining. For a truly perfect experience, I recommend Smith & Wollensky (Miami/Chicago) or Bha! Bha! Persian Bistro in Naples for flavors that are truly out of this world.
We began with a 2015 Biblinos vintage red wine, a fantastic start that paired beautifully with the opening dishes. The Milos Special was, as always, excellent — crisp, delicate, and a true signature of the house. We followed with octopus and vegetables, a mezze platter, and prawns so large they looked like lobster tails, bursting with incredible flavor. It was truly a feast of flavors.
For mains, we shared two standouts: the lobster pasta, a must-have at Milos, and the rack of lamb with French fries, tender, flavorful, and exquisitely prepared. Both dishes showcased the kitchen’s ability to combine simplicity with precision.
Dessert was equally memorable: a refreshing lemon sorbet, creamy Greek yogurt, and a perfectly executed baklava, all paired with a 2018 Xinomavro sparkling wine — dry, smooth, and elegant.
What elevated the evening even further was the service. Miki guided us through the entire menu with expertise, suggesting the perfect pairings and explaining every dish in detail. His warmth and professionalism made the experience truly outstanding.
Milos is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience that blends top-quality ingredients, exceptional preparation, and impeccable service. We will definitely be back.
The food is the star of the show. Milos uses incredibly fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference in every dish. While the dinner menu is extraordinary, their lunch menu is also fantastic. It’s a great way to sample a variety of options from the full menu without committing to a full dinner.
The service is another highlight—the staff is very friendly and welcoming. To complement your meal, Milos offers an excellent wine list and also has great cocktails
We were able to park on the street. They have valet for $25. We paid $5 to park on the street.
We had reservations and were sat immediately. The dining room is huge! They have a lot of tables, so I imagine it’s difficult to have a wait time.
Everyone was very friendly and professional. We loved all of the staff. There were at least 3 people who were serving us and refilling our waters. There was a gentleman who brought us bread and cut Fresh oregano onto a platter and then added olive oil to it. Someone else brought us a complimentary dish of ceviche with goat cheese served on endive.
For my Miami Spice meal I chose the Meze platter for my appetizer, the Halibut for my entree and the Greek yogurt with honey for my dessert. My friend chose the calamari as an appetizer and also had the halibut. My other friend ordered the grilled octopus with vegetables and the lamb chops. We all had the Greek yogurt for dessert. I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc with my dinner. It said $16 on the menu, but it was $24 on the bill. I didn’t say anything. Altogether our checks were about $85 each before tip. Mine was $103 after tip.
Everything was amazing! We’ve been visiting several restaurants over the last two months, trying all of the Miami spice deals. This was definitely one of my favorite, if not THE most favorite place. It may be because I love Mediterranean cuisine, but the entire atmosphere, the service, and the food made it a perfect experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Mediterranean cuisine. I look forward to returning soon.
Thank you for bringing Greek flavors to Miami
The service is very attentive, friendly and personal. Most of the times it feels absolutely effortless and we never have to wait too long to order or the food and drinks to arrive.
Most importantly the food is delicious!
The quality of meat and fish, spices, tsatziki are exceptional.
I can recommend the lunch menu which has a fair price and the Milo’s Special appetizer!
Enjoy.
