Great place for a meal. Clean and comfortable dining room. Staff were attentive and helpful. Very welcoming.

Menu has limited entrees but many options for sides. Our meals were great. The citrus vinaigrette dressing is great. Quality food! The main dishes could have been seasoned more.

Styrofoam drink cups are awful. One of the worst products for the environment.

Esters Farm Cafe was impressively clean — tables, floors, counters, everything felt well cared for. The people were incredibly kind, too. A woman who seemed to be the owner was sitting nearby and was very personable, checking in to make sure we were happy with what we ordered, which made the whole experience feel warm and personal.
My wife had the club sandwich with curly fries (their “Curly Q’s”), which were a really fun twist — almost like a cross between curly fries and chips. I had the grilled cheese with chili, and everything we tried was delicious. The food struck a great balance between the polish of a well-run restaurant and the cozy feel of a home-cooked meal.
We didn’t try dessert, but everything in the case looked great. The space itself feels like it would be especially nice on a warm summer day with the bay doors open. It was too cold when we visited, but I’d love to see the place in that mode sometime.
Overall, everything felt like exceptional quality — the food, the furniture, the parking lot, the lighting. Just a really lovely place to spend time.

Esters Farm Café is such a charming and cozy restaurant. The chicken and dumplings were incredible and took me right back to my granny’s kitchen. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. We even had the chance to meet the owners and instantly felt like friends. We were just traveling through from out of town, but this will be a regular stop for us every time we travel down I65. Highly recommend.

When you’re road tripping across the country, visiting National Parks, this is the restaurant you always hope to happen upon. The food was quite excellent with some pretty unique and locally inspired options. The service and the hospitality were also lovely. It’s very kid/family friendly as well. Just about 15 minutes from the Mammoth Cave visitor center – this is where you should eat when you’re enjoying this area.

Esters Farm Cafe is a favorite stop. It’s like having dinner at my grandma’s house because the staff is super friendly, and the space is homey. The food? It is DELICIOUS! Try the roast beef with mashed potatoes and tomato pie — and do yourself a favor by saving room for the chocolate cake with white icing.

They have a new location that’s even closer to Mammoth Cave National Park, so it’s very convenient if you’re in the area.

We’ll be back!

We just had dinner at Esters Farm Cafe and Catering and it was delicious! The burgers and salads were great and my daughter loved her kids grilled cheese so much that she tried to order 2 more. When it comes to customer service, we truly got the best, most friendly southern hospitality you could ask for. We left with full bellies and full hearts!

Had dinner at this place during our visit to mammoth cave national park. It was a laid back, casual, country style, farm- to- table, rustic, family owned place. The environment inside was very homey. The owners were very sweet and friendly. They had a few options and even offered us to sample before we could actually order! The food was fresh, hot, especially the meatloaf. They had a big family inside the dining room where everybody was having dinner. They even suggested us great cave trips that we could take the next day. The dinner was wonderful.

Everything about this restaurant is wonderful. The owners and staff make you feel like family and the new restaurant is so welcoming and lovely. The food is made with fresh sourced ingredients and made by people who love food/love to cook. My only issue here is deciding what to eat! They have all my favorites. Highly recommend the white beans, baked apples and fried chicken but any choice is a great choice.
