Establishment is such a great spot in Atlanta. It’s stylish without feeling pretentious and perfect for a relaxed night out. I ordered the white bean sliders and brussel sprouts, and they were fantastic: flavorful, well-seasoned, a bit crispy, and surprisingly hearty. You can tell a lot of thought went into these dishes, and it stood out in the best way. They’re so delicious that it is tough trying other food on the menu, but I can also confirm that the Grilled Snapper Sliders, Duck Tacos, and Big Mac Sliders are also a favorite in our household. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’ll continue coming back to and recommend to anyone looking for a unique, well-executed menu in the city. A must try for happy hour, too!

Ambiance: Fun & trendy bar/restaurant/lounge in Midtown with multiple seating areas, all of which provide a bit of a different vibe/mood! The patio outdoor seating is very open/breezy with views of the Midtown area. We enjoyed the bar seats outside, however there were also lounge chairs and couch areas. The inside feels more moody & dark – perfect for a date night or upscale night out. There are dining table areas, seats at the bar, and lounge seating for a more club/laid back vibe.

The menu was on the pricey side – I think you’re paying for the ambiance! We enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. Bar service was fast and attentive. Great spots for groups, tourists, and hanging out in a trendy ambiance. Bathrooms were clean. Street parking available, walking distance to several other spots. Definitely a place I would visit again next time I’m in Atlanta for the whimsy/industrial decor and aesthetic!

We sat at the bar during happy hour and enjoyed the best service and most delicious Brussel sprouts! Great spot in Midtown Atlanta for drinks and small bites!

First, most importantly, they have a happy hour every day! The atmosphere is great. You’ve got indoor seating outdoor seating. The menu is mostly new American with some interesting choices that enhance some routine meals like the chicken sandwich. Service was great throughout the meal and drinks were delivered promptly. You’ll enjoy the experience in this is sort of country and kind of eclectic restaurant.

The food here was delicious. I tried the Oxtail Rigatoni/Ragu, the Steak and frites, the spicy sweet potato hummus, both types of pretzel bites, and the duck tacos. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned. I will say the steaks were not consistent with the temp requested but overall it was still tasty. The spicy sweet potato hummus came with naan and crudite, however I could have had a few more pieces of each because there is so much dip in comparison. Pretzel bites were hot and fresh. I loved the grain mustard! Duck tacos were phenomenal. I was not a fan of the collard greens that they served with it. They did not taste good and had a weird ingredient in them. It was a very random side and not complimentary at all to the dish. I could have gone without it entirely. However, the corn and mango pico they put with the tacos, blew me away! Loved that. The location is awesome. It has a lounge feel to it. A place where you can definitely slow roll and order at will with no rush. Loved the drink selections. Service could have been better. Our server was a little slow to continue to check on us but it did like that was typically how service went (refer to the slow roll comment). I will also note that our server did do a great job ensuring that my sister’s dietary/allergen needs were adhered to with no issue. Overall wonderful experience. I enjoyed myself and will be returning!

Try Saints + Council instead. They’re pricing isn’t any more affordable but the food is just as good, drinks are better, and at the very least their transparent with their guests.

I’ve been to Establishment on different occasions. The food and atmosphere are actually good, but the customer service and pricing are why I’m knocking stars off.

Word to the wise: be extremely specific and ask detailed questions here. Either common sense and server etiquette is lacking or necessary information is intentionally not being provided, and they are actively choosing the most cost-beneficial route for their “establishment” at the expense of their customers.

There has always been one minor inconvenience or negative experience with the service but nothing that stopped me from revisiting. However this last instance with the bill grated me.

I wasn’t too hungry last night when I went out to eat with friends, so I went with the $17 “Hot Girl Dinner” (deviled eggs, salad, and fries). I noticed the Chimichurri Steak Tacos were the same price, and since I love chimichurri steak but didn’t want the other things that are typically provided with a taco plate (tortillas, pico, lettuce etc) I decided that I was just going to request the meat on the side thinking that that they’d either reduce the price to account for the removed items or, at most, charge me the full $17 for the taco plate and just bring the meat out by itself. I would have been fine with either option. I asked the waitress—while pointing directly at the menu item—if I could get just the steak from the Chimichurri tacos. To her defense, she asked if I just wanted the “steak on the side,” and I said yes assuming she was double checking my request for just the taco meat. She placed the order with no further clarification.

Our orders come out in a decent time. The cocktails weren’t worth getting but I truly enjoyed the food. The deviled eggs and fries were unique and tasty. The salad was a bit underwhelming, but paired well with the steak strips. Overall I was happy with my order… until the bill came out.

They charged me $35 for the saucer plate of steak strips on top of the $17 for my main dish. Of course I bring this to our waitresses attention, being very clear with what my expectations were with my intended order, and asked if she would at the very least try to talk with her supervisor about adjusting the price to reflect the steak tacos. She returns to tell me they couldn’t adjust it because my order was placed as a “Side Steak,” which is a larger portion size than the steak included with the tacos. Mind you, none of this was disclosed when I ordered.

I remember thinking that I had a nice amount of steak slices. A saucer of around 8 medium length strips. It wasn’t a noticeably large portion or anything but it was more than what I expected and I figured the amount i was given was just their standard portion for the taco plate and didn’t think twice about it. I definitely felt duped and mislead.

There was no effort to offer a gesture or price reduction to accommodate the misunderstanding. And worse… I didn’t get to finish my steak! I didn’t register that she took the saucer when she was clearing our plates. I left 2 or 3 cuts (about a quarter of the whole dish) on my plate because, again, I wasn’t that hungry. But petty me couldn’t stop thinking about that 7ish U.S. American dollars worth of steak I didn’t have the chance to take home.

If I hadn’t been out with friends, I would have advocated for myself a bit harder, but I wasn’t going to ruin the night. I just paid the bill—automatic 20% gratuity and all—and left.

Father’s Day weekend, I treated my husband to a weekend staycation in Midtown. That Friday afternoon, we came and partook of the Happy Hour. It was awesome. The food: mini shrimp po’boy sliders, the cajun/lemon fries, the duck tacos. OMG; everything was DELICIOUS ‼️. We enjoyed the drinks as well but I don’t remember what we had off the top of my head. I had mixed drinks. My husband had beer and mixed drinks. No complaints. I can’t wait to come back and try more things. Those fries are addictive and you get a huge portion. I wish I could come back today but I see they are closed on Sundays LOL

We enjoyed a team lunch here during the week. We made a reservation and had a nice table for our group. Food came out quickly. Fried Brussels sprouts were a crowd pleaser, nice portion and flavorful with Parmesan cheese and a spicy sauce. Pimento cheese burger was everything you could hope for – cheesy and tangy. Fries were delicious and homemade.

My only complaint was the drink refreshments weren’t the most timely and my soda was a bit flat. Minor details though to the overall experience!

We hosted a private event at Establishment and it was a huge success. Note – we are from out of state so planned the event sight unseen.
Management was very communicative and involved in planning. David even hired a DJ for the event, making it extra fun and unique. He made recommendations and ensured we had ordered enough of everything.
Food and drinks were great, and we had positive feedback from party attendees.
Event space was perfect for our needs, and there was a high level of service from everyone on staff. We would recommend Establishment for any event you have in Atlanta!

Very busy restaurant, but despite the crowd, the service was still prompt, and on point. Nice rustic ambiance. The food was served hot and very tasty. Nice variety and shareable portions. Really great specials available for their happy hour. Good music playlist. My daughter was with me, but I do feel this is more of an adult environment.
