Myself and two friends made the trip down the Sea to Sky from Whistler after hearing so many great things about this place — recommendations came from my taxi driver, a few work colleagues, and even a guest at the hotel where I work. With that many people speaking highly of it, we had to experience it for ourselves.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which set a great tone for the evening. The service was good overall, though a few more check-ins throughout the meal would have made it even better, just to see if we needed anything or wanted another drink.
The food, however, was the real highlight. The garlic naan was honestly one of the best I’ve had anywhere on the Sea to Sky, fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The curries were rich and delicious across the board, each packed with depth and spice. Even the appetizers impressed us was the lamb kebabs were tender and full of flavour, and the potato patties were unexpectedly one of our favourites of the night.
If I had one small suggestion, it would be to turn the music up slightly to create a more vibrant atmosphere and really bring the restaurant to life.
Overall, it was absolutely worth the trip down from Whistler. Great food, welcoming staff, and a memorable dining experience. With a few small tweaks to service and atmosphere, this place could easily go from great to exceptional

The only place you need to go for amazingly authentic Indian food!!! You can tell it’s a well love family restaurant when I walked in and the place is buzzing with people. I ordered the butter chicken with plain naan and garlic naan. Simply delicious!!!! Can’t wait to check out the other food on their menu!!!!

Don and Kelly run the best Indian restaurant here in the city, hands down. I moved the Squamish about a year ago and every time im craving authentic desi food its been here. Their palak, dal, chana, and bhurji’s are always prepared well and with love. Happy to be a patron of this local establishment.

Yum, Yum, and Yum! You MUST find this restaurant and pay a visit. Believe me, it’s a hidden gem , and you will be amazed that you did. It is located in the plaza right behind the “Hector’s Your Independant Grocer” (i.e., Loblaws) on Tantalus Road with ample free parking spots. Five Stars all the way is all I can say. The atmosphere was cozy, the food was delicious, and it was an excellent personalized service by the owners and their staff. Freshly prepared food, all dishes hit the spot, and we were full by the time we’re done. We ordered Lamb Roganjosh and Chili Chicken, and both came with rice on the side. We chose one dish with Garlic Naan and the other with Rice. Spice levels are from a scale of 1 to 6, and we were quite comfortable with 3 and 4, where 3 are medium spice levels. We also had delicious Mango Ice-cream after lunch and a Chai to go for our drive ahead. We will definitely visit this restaurant if in the area for sure and will suggest friends and families driving by Sqamish to have this experience. Very disappointed. Smelled great, nice looking place but sadly couldn’t be less of an authentic Indian. Clearly had to change for Canadian taste: nothing was even close to the original dishes from India. Pilau rice had peas, corn and carrot. No sign of saffron, cloves or cardamon pods. Korma tasted bland with no essence of nut or coconut cream etc…

Excellent service and a wonderful dining experience. The food was flavorful and authentic, the owners almond with staff were warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great Indian cuisine in a inviting dining way in Garibaldi Highlands.

Excellent all around, more decor would add to the experience, but the food , service and presentation was excellent. The Tah Mahal beer was really good as well. A must go if you like or are new to Indian food, it’s all made from scratch. So the wait can be a bit long depending on how busy they are. Family owned and ran , so it’s definitely worth the wait. We didn’t wait overly long ago at all and it was decently busy. Definitely check it out, you won’t be disaponted.

Chef Dons delicious creations! Such a fantastic place to take friends and family. Excellent balance of flavours for everyone to enjoy. Best samosas in town!! Great staff and ambiance is just what you need after a hectic day!! Highly recommended.
