The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish was full of flavor and served at the perfect temperature. The service was equally impressive — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit.
A big shout-out to Jerry, who looked after all of us so well, especially my son who has a severe allergy. We truly appreciated the extra care and attention given to ensure his safety.

A must go when in Malta. Chef Ranjit Patil makes the best OG Veg Kolhapuri. We tried the veg kolhapuri, lehsuni dal, veg biryani and paneer tikka. Paneer tikka could have been better though, it was way to dry for us. The staff is friendly and always wants to improve. The manager asked us if we were liking the food and if everything was as per our taste. We dined with them all the days we were there.

Definitely recommended! We weren’t sure if we would want a curry during our holiday in Malta – but we ended up coming back here twice! The first time we opted for the set menu which provides a great selection of dishes and is great value for money for an introduction to Indian cuisine.
We loved the food and the whole experience, and really found the quality here top notch. Not just the food and drink, but also the location and fantastic team of staff are really excellent. The tastes, the atmosphere and the service, combined with the stunning views makes the Essence of India a must visit
P.s. if you have children who aren’t yet into spicy food, there is a super little childrens menu available.

Had dinner with the family here this evening and we had a table out on the terrace, the food was fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and attentive and would definitely recommend to anyone if they are in Malta. We will definitely be back. Thanks once again for a lovely evening.

An enjoyable meal, with very good food and friendly service. Staff was efficient and helpful. Meal nicely presented in a modern and comfortable setting. Food is tasty, although if I has to be picky I would say that the spice levels are dumbed down for the western palate, which is a slight bummer for people who like spicy food (and ordering a supposedly spicy dish). If you like your food super spicy, then I suggest you ask the waiter when ordering, if you could have the curry made hotter. Otherwise, very pleasant food. We were too full for dessert, unfortunately. Indian beer (Kingfisher) is available, which is nice. The wine list is decent, although not very exhaustive. However, the glassware used seemed a bit below the standard that I would expect from a restaurant leaning towards the casual fine dining. Nice wine glasses would definitely help for one to enjoy a nice bottle of wine with the meal. Overall, no hesitation to recommended the place… especially if you are staying at the Radisson Hotel itself. Prices are not too expensive, especially considering the setting.

The best Indian meal I have had in years. My partner and I were staying in the hotel and decided to eat here our last night. She is vegetarian and there was plenty on the menu for her. She had the chana masala curry. This is one of my favourite dishes and the restaurant did me a chicken version even though it wasn’t on the menu. It was superb. The flavours were amazing with just the right amount of chilli. We had a naan bread each and shared a rice. We also had a couple of glasses of wine. The bill came to around £85. Well worth it. Service was excellent. We hadn’t booked so ended up on the terrace outside. Thankfully it was quite a cool evening. Make sure you book if you can. Highly recommend this restaurant though.
