We very much enjoyed dinner at Essence of India. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the servers were very friendly and helpful. We tried two of their soups, two entrees and a dessert (all pictured) and each dish was deliciously flavored with the perfect amount of spice. My only regret is visiting sooner!

I love the food and the vibes here! This is also a vegetarian-friendly place with so many tasty veggie dishes. I enjoyed the Aloo Mutter so much. The curry smelled like heaven and was so smooth and flavorful. I tried their mango Lassi and it was just PERFECT!

Delicious Indian food! They have alot of vegan options. I got the Chana masala although they call it something different. And the Papadum lentil crackers and vegan wheat naan. I also got the Dahl fry and an extra Chana masala to go. Full of authentic flavor. Very nice service too. I ordered medium spicy and it was pretty spicy because there was no dairy. Even the mild had good spice.

Food was good. Had the chicken tikka masala with rice and Pita bread. I got the Spiciest even tho the server said spicy-lovers sometimes can’t handle it, but it wasn’t as spicy as I thought . Have only been once and preferred take out once. Would like to still go more often.

We frequented Essence of India in 2021 and recently returned to see how they’ve held up. In terms of service and flavor, they’re still on point. The only complaints we had is the quality and amount of chicken in our dishes seemed to be a step down from what we remembered. Previously we had gotten vinadaloo curry and chicken Tikka masala. For this visit we tried buttered chicken (medium spice level) and Essence of India Curry (Indian Hot). If you don’t like spices, avoid the hot and Indian hot. If you do, the taste gets better as the meal (cooked) temperature cools, but it’s still an excellent level of heat.

I love this place, I been coming here for years! anything Biryani is my go to! Goat curry is also on of my favorite. So great definitely give it a try. If you are feeling wild I recommended getting your food spicy! You will experience it twice!!!

First time dining with the wonderful staff at Essence of India. I tried a few sides, and Lamb Rogan Josh. It was impeccable. One tip is that spicy means SPICY!! I left absolutely satisfied, and feeling invigorated from spice. I will be back to try many more things on their menu! There are lots of choices to choose from, and the staff was happy to help me make a decision. And i truly enjoyed my experience. 10/10

I’ve been here a couple times but today I brought my friend with me and he enjoyed the food as much as I did. When asked for recommendations, the server without a doubt recommended a lot of options that all sounded delicious. The food was very tasty, it was the most pleasant place and the service was very good.
