Espresso Yourself Bakery opened in 2016 in Jerseyville, IL. We are locally owned and operated by a mother/daughter duo. We feature Bunkhouse Joe Coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, cold brew, and frozen drinks. We specialize in sweet breakfast treats. We offer a variety of 5-7 different muffins daily, pastries, cinnamon rolls, cookies, bagels, loaf of the week, and energy bites. We also do custom orders including cakes, cheesecakes, cupcakes, pies, and cakepops.

This place is great. I had them make a themed birthday cake and they did an incredible job! So creative and they specially made it gluten free. If you ever have a chance, you need to try their famous campfire cookies. My staff begs me to pick some up for them all the time. They also make them gluten free so I can have them. They’re a fun bunch always greeting you with a smile!

I came here for the first time, and it was really good. I got a chocolate chip cookie iced latte. It was amazing and the service was good. The woman at the drive-thru answered my questions politely. I love this place! Wish it was closer to home but I get out to Jville 3 x a month so I always hit it. Bagels are totally authentic east coast style- better than Einsteins or other chains. That old-school style of bagel making makes a massive diff- you gotta try these. Staff is really cool too – check it !

My husband and I are heading on a camping trip with our 3 pups and just happened to drive into town and see this place so we decided to stop and grab a coffee. I’m not sure what we were expecting but when two extremely friendly baristas opened the drive-thru doors we knew we were at a one of a kind place. They gave our pups some loving and homemade treats which they loved and the food and drinks were delicious. 100% recommend!

I try to stop here almost daily, they have delicious cold brew and the Egg Bake they have is excellent (think giant souffle) the spinach one is my favorite. They could definitely use a drive through speaker though, to help speed up the process cause the wait time with 3 cars in the drive through is usually about 10-15 minutes. The downside is I’m not really sure how they could fit one in. But it’s well worth the wait!

We are happily satisfied with everyone at the Expresso Yourself coffee and bakery. My granddaughter was so pleased with the Super Hero cake pops they painstakingly made for her baby shower. Is very labor intensive and we were very picky that the colors came out vivid and true to the Super Hero design. She left with not one cake pop left because they were so delicious. They went above and beyond with our super hero cupcakes as well. The atmosphere at the coffee shop is warm and friendly. We enjoyed our delicious coffee so much we had another and only shame of keeping them stay open late on a Saturday made us leave. Thank all of you for a great job as well as a fun coffee chat.
